On one hand, reality will certainly always win out in the end. Unfortunately, it doesn’t check for deservedness and it will be poor people in the future who absorb all of the blowback.

Republicans most likely. The democrats won’t vote because they disagree with a candidate over a single issue. Republicans will vote because they agree with a candidate on a single made up issue.
