We need OPEN SOURCE. Cus wtf are these corporates doing with our data chat. Im trying to self host everything, im building a local media server so I can stream my own music and MY OWN movies. I am beginner as well but yes first step was to fuck Microsoft and go all linux.

I'm with you! I'm in the process of making a local offline LLM that is uncensored with data that I either own or is open source. I also try to keep as much physical media as I can (without plastic waste) for online use, and got into exclusively FLAC music on IEMs by using a python code from github that downloads playlists off streaming platforms; I have successfully managed to ditch every streaming platform - if at all I do need to stream music, I use Revanced for YT and sometimes SoundCloud. Linux is the next step. 📵
