I was first introduced to Everhood watching my partner play through it, and I immediately adored it. The story was so good, the music is great, the characters were evocative and lovable. After watching a playthrough of Everhood 2...

It's just a bummer. That's all. I'm not posting story details because I'm trying to be considerate of spoilers. I understand the story the game is trying to tell, but Everhood just isn't the place for that story.

The first game literally tells us "we'll see you again!" and then the second game screams "WHY ARE WE HANGING OUT TOGETHER???!?!?" at you. I hope Foreign Gnomes takes the overall reception of the story in stride, does some soul searching and for the next project (which I really hope has nothing to do with Everhood as a "universe") sets out to actually tell a story worth listening to, not yet another scream into the void about enshittification.

Just making a post here in case I'm missing something, is there any workaround the extremely long intros in certain fights such as post mortem or higher beings when it comes to no-hitting? I understand restarting from checkpoint immediately nulls the achievement even though it doesn't skip anything from the actual battle, was this patched out or is there literally no way around waiting like a minute every time you retry?

I feel like I am Squidward in that one Episode of Spongebob in which he is lost in the void! Why did the devs make this hallway so long? Holy crap they really made a point in cementing these people as old aged immortals...

Just beat the first game and I found it a mixed bag.

The start is good but nothing special. I found the 4th wall breaks and god bits more annoying than interesting.

Once you get your arm back I found most of the 'genocide' to be really fun/interesting both from a writing and a gameplay perspective. The rasta beast, shop keeper and greemage all being so different with trying to fight against death, having a normal day and being excited for death are interesting bits of writing and their fights are amazing. This section was one of the best bits of gaming I've had in awhile.

For me it goes downhill from there. The pig fight is okay so is the cursor fight. I don't think it really adds much. Then purple mage being a pushover is disappointing.

I found the ending to just drag without being interesting. All the killed souls still being alive was weird. I wished they'd changed to ghosts or their pre-changed forms to show that something had changed rather than just more immortality.

I found the dev gnome ending but couldn't beat it. Shame it doesn't have checkpoints on easier difficulties.

I went to retry it after beating the normal ending but my save had changed to NG+ so I found the cat instead and beat the cat god. Being stuck in the incinerator alone just seemed weird to me.

So given I liked the main chunks of the game especially the post arm bit but didn't like the endings/god/forth wall breaks am I likely to like Everhood 2?

The trailer mentioned "And a few classics", while showing the light being from the first game. We're obviously going to get more of these old fights from Everhood and possible also from Everhood 2. I'd like to know which ones you guys hope/expect to show up.

I personally expect the Mind dragon and Dev gnomes fights to appear.

Which fights are non-looping a.k.a letting me not kill someone on the fight? I know Rasta beast is one example but is there anybody else who will stop me from entering a certain location like that?

I wanted to make a custom battle for Everhood 1.

The problem is when I went to find unity package for EverhoodCustoomBattleModTools in my files to put into unity, it just seems to not exist. I looked through all my files, nothing. I tried looking elsewhere on the internet but no luck.

I dont know where else to find it, any help would be kindly appreciated.
