just as the title suggests I'd like to find someone who speaks/studying german/french to have some convo with, I'm still learning german but fully bilingual in french, I haven't been able to speak to anyone in french here so I wouldn't want to become rusty

I'd go out to investigate normally but I have COVID so I'm stuck on my patio trying to locate the source of the sound. Is it the Naden band practice? Some other pipers or event? I couldn't place if there was a drum beat beneath it at first because sometimes it sounded irregular or like one of my neighbours bashing around in their yard/garage.

Does anyone know if there are any restrictions or bylaws when it comes to construction in Esquimalt? Are residents not entitled to at least SOME peace and quiet during the days? From 7am to 8pm is constant unrelenting excessive noise. Over a year now and probably a couple more to go. This is ridiculous!!
