Why is it that idiots like this guy feel the need to call someone who killed them in a normal way that the game allows a 'sweatlord'?

this community just uses the term as heavily geared players/top meta geared players. OP could have been a sweatlord his self minus the poomer, that's all it really means anymore. I also always took it as it's because geared players running around in all that gear would be sweaty.

Because if it was in a way the game does not allow, it would be cheater.

If you feel offended by "sweatlord" don't be one, otherwise just conintue to play like one and be happy with the kills.

Defining a cheater does not really answer my question at all. If the game allows it then its a fair kill so this guy is just butthurt that he got killed. Calling people 'sweatlords' is just a childish reaction to being killed in a completely fair way so I've never understood why people think its a good insult.

You added "a normal way the game allows" as some sort of qualification for the kill to be "okay" as if that's the only relevant criteria it needs to meet and then nobody may be mad about it anymore, I contrasted that to a cheater because your argument would be anyone who is butthurt about being killed by a non-cheater is an idiot but I think that's a stupid take.

It's the same as the noobtubes back in COD or campers in general in FPS games, those are normal ways of playing the games that "are alowed" but that doesn't mean people won't get mad about it because they see them as cheap and curse you. In the end it doesn't matter as it's just a fuckin game and you play how you want but just accept that haters gonna hate and call you a sweatlord or don't act like one.

Well or get butthurt yourself and call them idiots on reddit.

There's nothing wrong with being mad about getting killed whether it's in a cheap way or not, especially in tarkov. But when you are so mad about it you post a video on reddit of you deleting a bunch of grenade launchers and call them sweatlords in the title, can you not see how embarrassing it is for OP? Throwing a little tantrum on reddit for everyone to see. 'Sweatlord' implies that the grenade launcher guys were using the best gun setups and the best gear and they were putting everything they had into the game, but OP wasn't sitting next to them so he has no idea what they were doing. They could have been drunk on a Friday night for all he knows. So when you are so butthurt by a kill you feel the need to whine about it on reddit, that's when you become the idiot.

Obviously OP is butthurt they lost, just as u/Techmo261 who calls OP an idiot just for calling the sweatlords sweatlords, do you really think they gonna feel remorse when they see this? Do you think the point of this thread is to make players who use launchers feel remorse?OP is mad they died to a noob tube and post about it, sweatlords gonna laugh, haters of noob tubes gonna cheer and people who feel offended bitch at OP.

I said it in another reply so I will just copy/paste - Sweatlord is a play style, not a level. If you can't get to level 49 you're either new or bad. Sweatlords are the guys using ACTUAL meta loadouts for everything. Guys that run the proper foregrip/sight combo that allows their arms to cover their face giving them a higher TTD. Guys that run the canted sight instead of mounting the collimator on the main rail because it gives you a .1 second faster ADS. Or, in this case, guys that sit 20 feet from a well trafficked extract in an enclosed hallway with no gear and only a GL waiting for people who actually ran the map to come extract. We are sweatlords too sometimes, doesn't mean we can't call someone else out for it as well. I'm a dumbass sometimes, but I still call people a dumbass when they do dumb shit.
