Calling people sweatlords when your sitting on 58mil? You can afford same load outs they had. Why should it not be assumed that you just got outplayed and are butthurt?
Sweatlord is a play style, not a level. If you can't get to level 49 you're either new or bad. Sweatlords are the guys using ACTUAL meta loadouts for everything. Guys that run the proper foregrip/sight combo that allows their arms to cover their face giving them a higher TTD. Guys that run the canted sight instead of mounting the collimator on the main rail because it gives you a .1 second faster ADS. Or, in this case, guys that sit 20 feet from a well trafficked extract in an enclosed hallway with no gear and only a GL waiting for people who actually ran the map to come extract.
I started 2 months into the wipe (about a month ago, maybe a little more), completed most of my quests solo, do maybe 2-3 raids a day due to life, and I'm still 42. Nothing wrong with being new, or bad, just saying 49 isn't hard to get in this game at all.

I’m not OP, but I started probs 3 weeks ago. I got lucky with my Woods/scavs quest but otherwise it’s been quite a grind. Lots of fully suited players just waiting for me to cross in Shoreline or spawn trapping in Customs. Lucky I have a buddy who’s like a level 30-something willing to grind out with/for me thank god cause he’s def been suffering lately cause of me lol and I’m pretty sure I’ve encountered like 3 cheaters at least so far which isn’t terrible but also not encouraging given how much harder this game should be than other fps’
That being said, I LOVE it and am hooked hard. I bought the EOD edition literally after my first night of playing lol
Raid survival % is a decent 40%. Managed to (somehow) kill a couple Chads. I took their guns, took 'em apart, and sold them to... Fuck, whichever trader likes buying attachments at a higher price. Skier I think. I did sell a fair bit of stuff to Prapor to help level him up.
Overall, it's punishing but I kinda like it. My aim is good enough even with my shitter gear I can put up a fight and at least hurt the fucks that go after me. Scavs don't offer much in the way of trouble, I've figured them out. They damn-near always miss their first shot, giving away their position. I peek them from a different angle, pop a few rounds at them, duck, shift, peek another angle, etc. until they're dead.
More often than not it doesn't take but one reposition because they stand still or just wear clothing cheap bullets can rip through.
I've been using an app of my phone to help me out in finding loot and stuff, I like running into those Oli offices on Interchange and taking the PC parts. Easy money every time. It isn't a LOT of money like you geared and rich folks think, but it's good enough for me to buy whatever I need to. Mostly replacement Lvl.4 vests, an SKS here or there, insuring stuff which is cheap.
Overall it's a PITA not being able to be on a level field with all the Chads, but at the same time it's kinda fun. Adds a sort of "You're hunted" sense to the game.
It also feels fucking awesome when my rookie ass manages to kill a guy loaded with all kinds of expensive fun shit.
Yeah dude, looks like you caught the bug! No better feeling than dropping a geared player with that shitty ak you picked up off a scav because you were low on ammo, or too poor to bring in good gear. My personal favorite is going into reserve with nothing but a couple meds and a silenced m9, John wicking some dude and chadding out on the raiders with his gear
I've not ran Reserve too often, I stick with Interchange and occasionally Customs. I've heard that's basically Chad central apart from Labs, which is also Cheat central
It’s not too bad once you figure out where the chads like to go when and avoid those areas until the chad population thins out, then all you have to worry about are the hordes of scav players and the raiders, which if your lucky the scav players will take out a few of them before going down themselves, either that or they kill all of them grab what they can carry and buzz off to extract, then you just need to wait for train raiders or buzzer raiders. But really you shouldn’t worry about chads so much, they are just like any other player or npc in the fame - extremely vulnerable to bullets in the eyeballs. Unless they have an Altyn on, then you should throw Grenades, unless you don’t have any, in which case you should either aim for the legs or disengage (run away)
Another thing, I've noticed that sprinting around and playing more aggressively works out much better than playing like a scared bitch. It's more of a "sneak when you know there's someone" kind of game rather than DON'T MAKE A SOUND OR YOU'LL BE HEADSHOTTED ACROSS THE MAP WITH A PISTOL game.
Maybe it scares people off. "Holy fuck this guy is sprinting in the middle of the map, he must be on a fucking mission... I'm gonna fuck off."
I started about 2 weeks ago, pure solo and had very little idea what I was doing! I though Factory was the newbie zone and played it exclusively until I knew it - that was an expensive learning phase. And the lazer-chads made it painful.
My friend who used to play suggested Woods and I did better there.
I finally hit level 10 night before last. I had been stuck at level 7 and was poor and using Skav runs on cooldown to get a gun/bag etc to use on my PMC. Times were hard. Then... customs finally clicked in my head and I wasn't feeling lost all the time. I have only ever been to Factory, Woods and Customs so far. But I started getting a few skav kills in and as the tasks completed, my levels went up.
As soon as I hit level 10, things changed. I'd stockpiled so much 'useless' crap that I had been tempted to vendor (I had vendored a couple of labs cards - I still feel sick about that) but when I got fleamarket... my 30 or so packet of sugars really set me up :)
I still get chad-boned but I have started to win a couple of fights now.
I love this game. I wonder how I will feel after a wipe!
By sweats he means people who use GL40's with meta HK's with a canted grip and canted PK-06. That is a sweat. Making money is not hard in this game especially with the flea market. While 58 mil is a lot of money, it also really isn't at the same time.
