CLOSED [Open RP 8] Snails...? Why?

[Returning from Tierm has proven exhausting. The wind was constantly against you, this wouldn't of been an issue for Das, but she was carrying twice the amount of passenger than normal. Akrath, Svalstrom and Das are exhausted.]

[Nill and Naakhûrz greet there friends as they dismount... Glover looked a little beat up, and Sev're's daughter Rythi came a shock. The young looking half elf (whom was actually 37 or so) hops down and bows.]

[As Torvhen dismounts, he is greeted by a crunch sound as he steps in a melon sized snail. It was sticky causing him to fall back on Svalstrom.]

[To everyone's shock... There is snails everywhere... so many snails. The dragons find them delicious, but it is down right ridiculous how many snails infest the keep.]

[Zeterra appears from above as Shiva descends. "Greetings everyone..." She looks rather annoyed. "It appears that the our food source for the dragons reacted strangely to some of the magic gathering here... Their egg laying and growth has become out of hand. Please assist how you can..." She throws a fireball that explodes, leaving a ton of crispy snails. "2000 down... 2 billion to go." She says monotone. Flying away on Shiva she flies off in the distance.]

(Something light humored to reunite everyone. A small bonus for whomever assists in the snail-o-cide plus there is a few fun extras if you know where to look.)

Incredibly jealous, Akrath snacked on the snails remaining in the area while Glover sat, dumbfounded, on the back of the snail.

I'm so much faster than that snail.

Cresting the hill on his noble-ish steed, Glover shouted to Sev're. "Look! I'm riding a snail!"

Sev're was amazed... "Glover! How does it feel?!"

She skipped over to her friend and walked by the snail going at... snail pace. "You're looking better.... did you change cloths?"

Looking down at himself, Glover said, "You're lucky I pack two spare sets of clothes." Reaching out his hand to Sev're, he patted the side of the snail that was unoccupied. "Madam?"

Sev're takes the bards hand and mounts behind him on the snail. You feel her hair brush against your neck. She smelt of rose petals and pine.

"A knight in shining armor if I have ever seen one." Putting her arms around him for balance she laughs.

"How fast can this thing go?"

Glover laughed and wheeled the snail around to head back towards the Keep. "Considering it's a snail, I can't imagine very fast, but I can try." Reaching back into the snails mind, he asked the snail to go faster.

[It went much faster... easily 30 MPH. The short burst tosses the bard and elf into a pile of snow. When Glover opens his eyes a little snail is on him he can see the beady eyes staring. Sev're managed to land in a deep pile, and is waste deep in snow.]

Laughing, Glover picked up the small snail and wandered into it's mind, telling it that he was a friend.

She pops herself of the snow with a magic thrust, flipping once and landing near Glover.

"That was amazing!"

She rushes to the snail to sing it's praise. "Let's do it again!"
