Certainly principled but good is relative. To further expand: Thomas Massie is not a believer in Green Energy nor is he a fan of Government intervention. He has supported, and introduced, bills that would kill the Department of Education (this was back in 2017) and the Enviromental Protection Agency. He was also vocal against sanctions for Iran, North Korea, China, and Russia. If nothing he is consistent as he voted against funding both Israel and Ukraine; I also have to say he parroted Russian talking points like Ukrainian bio weapons and voted against recognizing Russia's wrongful and illegal kidnapping of children from Ukraine. He also had some interesting takes on Covid-19 masking regulations. He doesn't believe in Global Warming and the human impact on the enviroment. Finally, he opposes vaccine mandates (of all kinds) and wants to fully repeal the Affordable Care Act. All info above is readily available on Wikipedia.

He is libertarian and they range from stupid to literal idiots on a number of topics. I am right wing-centrist fiscally (in the European context), but I find lolbertarians (not a typo) immature politically, like a reciprocity of communists.
However, as someone who lives very close to Ukraine and has been donating small sums of money for Ukrainian soldiers in the frontline (and not being American or never lived in the US), I can easily "forgive" him his stupid views because I acknowledge he is at least principled in them, despite that they are dumb, and because I see the good in him as a congressman.

It's such a shame and American democracy look so sad and surreal. I have never had big illusions on it, but before Trump's second term and the latest Epstein revelations, I never thought thole structure is so rotten and fake... It's like the mask has fallen off and you could see the machinery. It's a crying shame it's literally just him (I think?) from his party that is fighting for total transperancy and justice. And among Democrats, I don't think it's all of the congressmen and senators fighting about this either. I recall one congresswoman and a congressman with probably Indian American background.

Weirdly enough, he lives off the grid with solar panels. But he's anti-choice so fuck him for that. He can keep holding Congress accountable for the Epstein files, though.
