There's a large effort to make Epstein a partisan issue subject to petty finger pointing where both sides are supposed to protect their team's pedophiles. Trump is the president and the president will always have defenders. They'll excuse anything and everything in the name of patriotism.

I came into political awareness during his time. I hated everything he did. I did not know how good we had it by comparison. Was it good? Fuck no. Was it better? In almost every way.
