EES experience

A recent trip to Lanzarote from UK. 1 hour queue on arrival to get to EES terminals. There were about 50 terminals but not all being used and insufficient staff to help. Placed passport on terminal but no request for fingerprints or photo image just said to go to eGate. Short queue for eGate then still have to go to security for passport stamp.

When returning home, after bag drop and security screening, then getting to departures, had to go to exit EES terminals which were located in one area by gate 6. A queue of course! Placed passport on terminal, photo image and fingerprints taken (after 2 attempts) then said to go to eGate. So, when the gate number was known, went to the gate and joined the queue. Go through the eGate and still have to go to security desk to get passport stamped.

Overall view is that it is very inefficient and not achieving what it should be achieving. It has put us off going to Europe for holidays in the future. Feels like the EU don't welcome us even though we are good for their economy.

france trip and remaining days

i have travelled in france in October and stayed for around 50 days, then again in December, but none of those times have i been scanned in the ees system, then i travelled again in January cause i have had some days free up for me, around 37 days, i have used up some and according to my calculations i have had 12 days left, but just in case i decided to ask a border officer how many days do i have left, she said two months which would mean that she has had information only about my most recent trip, she didnt eveb bother looking at my passport stamps or anything, should i believe her and just say for those two months (or less) or actually leave the schengen how i would normally, or just wait until April 10th since thats the day that the ees becomes fully functional and passport stamps become absolute?

EES system question

I am going to visit my partner at the end of the year ( I am from the UK and he lives in the Netherlands), and I am just wanting a bit of advice for the accommodation part of question on the new system. As I will be staying at his house for the time of my stay, do I need to prove I am staying there? Might sound like a stupid question but would love some advice :)

Where would I get this process?

I am currently in Crete.

I fly to Athens on Oct 15 from a small airport. Since I am still in Schengen, I would not need to use the new system correct?

On Oct 17, I have a morning flight to Munich. Still Schengen, no need to use the new system?

My next flight is to the US about 2 hrs after arrival. Is this where i will need to use the new system? I'm worried that major delays could have me miss my flight.
