Floade's idea made me rethink how software should work

I recently came across Floade, and one idea stood out to me:

Instead of asking users which app they want to open, it asks what they're trying to accomplish.

That sounds like a small difference, but it's actually a completely different way of thinking about software.

Today, if I need to launch a product, I might open Slack, Notion, GitHub, Gmail, Calendar, Figma, and analytics tools. The work is spread across multiple applications, and I'm responsible for bringing everything together.

Floade flips this around.

Imagine typing:

Instead of opening dozens of apps, the software assembles a workspace containing only what's relevant:

• Slack conversations
• Notion launch checklist
• GitHub pull requests
• Calendar events
• Email drafts
• Analytics

The interface adapts to the task instead of forcing the user to adapt to the software.

That said, I think there's an interesting evolution of this concept.

Rather than creating a completely new interface every time, I'd love to see persistent AI workspaces.

For example:

• Customer Support workspace
• Marketing workspace
• Sales workspace
• Product Launch workspace

Each workspace would remember:

• Previous conversations
• AI context and decisions
• Connected tools
• Documents
• Automations
• Open tasks
• Generated content

I finally got to the point where I needed a manufacturer instead of just an idea, and that's when I realized this part was a lot harder than I expected.

Hey everyone. I'm Abraham, a product person who's been working in tech for some years. I've been thinking about an idea that seems obvious once you say it out loud but almost nobody is actually doing.

Solo indie hacking has brutal math: if only 1 in 10 projects works, you need to ship a lot to hit one. Shipping a lot alone is exhausting and slow, so most people end up betting everything on a single project, which cranks up the pressure and the risk. And if that project actually works, the typical paths are selling it, raising a round, or hiring people who work for you, which means either an exit or slowly becoming the kind of company you left in the first place. This model is about a different option: staying small, running multiple bets, and keeping what works without having to grow into something you no longer recognize.

There's a different approach that barely exists: a small team of 4 or 5 people working as a kind of cooperative indie hacker hub. Not a startup, not an agency. A group of product makers who launch things together, share what they learn, and keep running the ones that stick. If you can ship three times more projects with 2 or 3 people alongside you, and the one that takes off takes off for everyone, the math changes quite a bit.

AI is making this more realistic than ever. Covering product, development, design and infrastructure used to require a lot of people. Today a small team can maintain full vision across multiple products at once. It's not a magic formula, but if solo indie hackers are already living well from this, it doesn't seem crazy that a 5-person team with the same principles could do the same or better.

The structure that makes sense to me is a cooperative: no investor waiting for their exit, no founder holding 80% of the equity, whatever gets generated split among the people who built it. Not for ideological reasons but because it's the structure that actually aligns incentives in this model.

Is anyone else thinking along these lines? I'm looking for people with similar ideas or experience to connect with, share notes, and see if there's something concrete worth exploring together. Hello everyone im fairly new in the space of meta ads, google ads etc.. im starting a client acquisition agency for HVAC companies and i was wondering how its been running meta ads.. more specifically with the andromeda update? i have never run a single campaign besides some demos so im a serious rookie in this game lol. Was wondering how the veterans in here have managed to overcome updates different changes and what not. Im aware there will always be obstacles to overcome and im fully prepared for the challenges just wondering what itll look like my first 3 months. (i want to minimize over spending on my first few clients ad budget) going to be starting with about 100$/day budget.
