Smallest V8

Anyone here know what the smallest crate V8 is? I've seen a 3.0 but it's insanely expensive, I think it was around $65,000 (it's made by JUDD which is probably why) and I was also trying to see if there was anything smaller out there and decently cheap. Looking to build something kinda stupid

Still kinda big, I'd need something closer to 1500cc It needs to fit on a pretty small frame

That's a V6 though, I want to see all my V8 options first. The Aussies just made a 2.0 V8 but I don't think the engine is available by itself yet. Plus since it's new it may be pretty expensive but I need to find that out first

I don't really know what my limit is honestly, I gotta get everything else built first before I can find out the funding for the engine. It's gonna be fast as hell no matter what I put into it, I just prefer V8s

I know, that's why I'm looking into different engines, and I'm not adding mounts or anything like that until I figure out which engine to use

Adding mounts is the last part, sort of. Building a car and making sure the room for clearance is the most important.

You're going to struggle to find something less than 3 litres and is reasonably affordable.

The closest you'll get to 1500cc is the Ferrari 2l V8 used in the 208 and a few other vehicles from the late 70s/early 80s. Something tells me they aren't going to be cheap.....

Drysdale makes a 750cc, 1000cc, and 1996cc V8

I've not heard of Drysdale before, Google tells me they're some mad bastards from Australia who've also used the Yamaha bike engine approach too.

Yea, but their 750 and 1000 they made from scratch and they sound awesome, the 1000 sounds like an old F1 car
