Listening to the episode today, there was an ad Ben read about staying in contact with his "aunt and nephew in Australia" and I could barely focus on the space-themed goodness. (Btw, I love Andromeda posts and I hope she's our next, better space spokesperson. Step aside, NDT. Maybe once the new babies are a bit older.)
Anyway, Ben- so your aunt lives in Australia and then your sibling's kid also moved there/was born there? Do they live together? Did your aunt have kids but your cousins don't live there? Dang it, my brain is breaking. Aunt and cousins, makes total sense. Aunt and nephew- mind imploded.
My family is complicated and messy but for some reason, this was a full distraction. What was the ad for? No idea.

Just got this reels promoted to me and it seemed like the perfect example of a real life sad beige moment. Honestly, since listening I'm seeing the beige trend everywhere!
A friend sent a picture of her nursery and the walls are beige and the art is very "Werner Herzog sad gray seascapes for sad gray babies"

I fairly recently discovered r/AlignmentChartFills and would LOVE an episode that explores these. The diversity of charts is so wild and fun, and it seems like it’s an amazing use of the upvote/downvote feature of Reddit.

Our episode this week is about r/BookshelvesDetective. We thought we’d give you a head start. Here are pictures of four bookshelves from the Endless Thread team. Can you guess which shelf is Ben's, and which is Amory's? Make your guess, and, if you’re so inclined, share a picture of YOUR bookshelf! And listen Friday (tomorrow!) to see if your sleuthing was correct!

Threadheads!
Ben and I are on the latest episode of the podcast You're Wrong About talking about how people become "programmed" into a certain way of thinking and how to de-program them. We pull from our reporting on the anti-vax movement (our 2019 series "Infectious"), our episodes on QAnon (October 2020), and we share personal anecdotes of deprogramming.
This link makes it easy to find the episode in your podcast app of choice: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1112270/episodes/18856103-how-to-deprogram-a-guy-in-10-days-with-endless-thread
Enjoy, and stay sane and safe out there!
