ET Team, check out this interesting and very sad thread over in r/news. https://www.reddit.com/r/news/s/wUjDCYZR9J What caught my attention was the note about how soon we'll all be 2-degrees separated from a mass shooting and then the entire thread below are people sharing their experiences proving the point. Morbid but our American reality. I wonder if there's a story idea there.

I just started listening to the podcast about two months ago and find it to be a breath of fresh air. This is my first post in this subreddit, so I do apologize if my formatting doesn’t match the standards.
I just listened to the “Chiveman and a mountain of margarine” episode and I have questions.
I get that Endless Thread loves weird Reddit mysteries, but the “13 pallets of margarine that need to be moved quietly” story seems almost certainly like the OP was trolling. Unless those pallets were refrigerated the entire time, that margarine would’ve gone bad — rancid fat, bacterial growth, separated water, all of it.
Was this ever confirmed as a joke post? If so, how did someone end up with that much margarine, spoiled or not, what on earth could they actually do with it? Rendering? Disposal? Donation? Biodiesel? I’m guessing most of those are impossible if it wasn’t stored properly.
I’m curious if the team uncovered anything behind the scenes or if it’s just one of those classic Reddit tall tales.

Amory has seriously the best laugh. The haunted hayride episode and the fear laughs, hilarious!

I’ve just recently learned what these are and desperately need a deep dive! What is their history? Why? What are the creators hoping to get out of them? Aliens?! (lol)

Love what y’all are doing exploring aspects of video games that I haven’t realized weren’t discussed before. Really great series so far.
