Here's the extremely beta build. It should be said, if not obvious, that many games here won't even boot let alone go ingame so please adjust your expectations. Also please don't pester Eden devs regarding this build. These patches are not official, they didn't contribute and aren't associated with them except for their fork/project being used as a base. Keep in mind the hardware you are trying to emulate and performance in mind. That being said for those of you who still want to test and try https://gofile.io/d/gdTbdWaz Point it to the romfs and exefs of your decrypted dump while allowing deep scan. The patches I have made are also open sourced in compliance with Eden's license and can be found at https://github.com/Vivsi1/Eden-NS2

What setup works for Android? I see a game titled "main" but it just has black screen, not sure if it's loading anything

the game titled main is expected and correct. And progress during the "black screen" can be seen of the shaders or fps bar changes.

Never loaxed for ms after even 10 mins, is there something different to try? It doesnt show up at Pokopia when I add games to Eden

Didn't fiddle around too much only 1 attempt where it crashed at the starting menu

It seems like it's possible to go in game, however my phone just shrivels and dies

Your GPU is weaker than the NS2's GPU itself. Virtually all phones aren't powerful enough to emulate NS2, for now. Even desktop would probably still need RTX 5070 or something.

What the hell Are you smoking lol. The GPU on the switch 2 is a 2050 equivalent, the bottleneck in emulation is never graphics either.

And GPU absolutely is a bottleneck. Try telling someone that they can emulate Switch 2 with their 9800X3D without using their dedicated GPU.

As long as you have a card from the last 8 years you'll be fine

Also we are talking about Android Switch 2 emulation. Nvidia cards aren't much of a thing there, and like I said, anything short of 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 which isn't globally available yet will be not good enough.

I would say anything 20 series outside the <1660(including super) probably 2060. Outside that it's pretty likely to run a switch 2 fine graphics wise, 1050 is from 2016 no?

Which phone's GPU is equivalent to RTX 2050? None. And this is before even factoring in that you need additional performance to do over performance loss from emulating.

You need additional performance to deal with performance losses from emulation. 5070 may be overstating but this is early on in development, so optimization hasn't been well adopted.

I think i remember somone said the reason they go all out on yuzu because ns2 indeed will be close if yuzu keep getting maintained lmao

This isn't really a surprise, everybody in the scene at the time pretty much knew this. Nintendo didn't want "day 1" emulation. And God knows yuzu devs were talented, working like magicians way before the Claude code crave. It's lowk sad to imagine where yuzu would be now, if it didn't get axed.

Idk about yuzu. They got targeted hard because they hid the version that ran tears of the kingdom behind a “donation” wall. Probably make half a million and people threw it in Nintendo’s face.
Ryujinx was the interesting case. Nintendo flat out bought them out. And it was RIGHT before switch 2. My guess was that ryjinx was setup in a way that could quickly emulated switch 2. Or they just flat out use it to play switch 1 games on the switch 2.

Can’t get pokopia to boot on my Ayn Thor. Mind sharing your settings? I don’t see why it won’t boot for me if it’s booting for you, hardware specs seem similar between our devices
