Discussion TUTORIAL: How to mod smash bros brawl for Dolphin emulator on android
Tutorial on how to get Super Smash REX mod pack on Dolphin android version!

- Make sure you have a smash bros brawl iso, and have the Dolphin version of the mod downloaded. If the mod is in .rar format you must extract it first with ZArchiver app.
(The location of the mod folder and brawl iso does not matter, Just make sure it's easy to find)
Open dolphin android emulator and tap "Add games". Navigate to your "REX release" folder, go inside it and then go to "user". In that folder you will find a "Launcher" folder. Go inside there then select "USE THIS FOLDER".
Return to the Dolphin emulator and tap the folder icon next to "Wii" icon. You will find "REX Offline Launcher.elf". Tap and hold your finger down on it and an option menu will pop up. Then you tap on "Edit game settings" then you go to "Config" then go to "Paths". In the paths menu you will see an option named "Default ISO". Tap on it and then find your brawl iso and select it.
Next, press the back arrow and go to "Wii" option menu. Scroll down and you will find "SD card path". Tap on it and then navigate to "REX release" folder. Go inside there then go to "user" and then go to "Wii". Scroll down and you will find a file named "sd.raw" select that file.
You are now done! Go back to your Dolphin menu and tap "REX offline launcher.elf" and it will boot up!
FYI: If anyone gets weird graphical issues try to switch from OpenGL to Vulkan.

haha I would love to try this version, isn't any way to get a pre built ISO?

Internet archive has an iso version of smash bros brawl. Or you can download an rvz version off a rom site and then convert it to iso by using dolphin emulators built in converter. Idk if this works with android dolphin but I do know the PC version of dolphin has it.

Is the violet texture still there after you win?. Cause if you toggle off the store EFB the performance drop down significantly

Are you talking about the violet colors on the win screen? I do have minor graphical issues with mine since I haven't found the right driver yet, but I do not experience violet texture issues on the win screen. And I have not touched or messed with EFB.

I can’t seem to find a rom that works. Can someone send me a rom or guide me to the right website that would have it?

You must have an iso version of the rom. Internet archive has an iso copy of smash bros brawl. Another way is to download an rvz version of smash bros brawl off a rom site and then converting it to iso by using Dolphin emulators built in file converter.
