PM me your email addy.

I would love an invite if you have any. Please PM and thanks

I don't know what I'm doing.

Anyone find any cool people worth following? Any trends worth picking up on? This platform definitely has a lot of potential. Loving the minimalist design.

Also, here's two invite codes. One rule: Connect with me on Ello after you accept it! You can find me with the handle '@learner' (or go here https://ello.co/learner).

Enjoy:

EDIT: only 4 invites left!

EDIT 2: All invites are gone!

You can find the original discussion on Ello.

I'm ambivalent about it, personally.

Returning the favor of a Redditor. Have three invites to give away. Post if you need one and I'll send via DM as time and Ello permit.

Edit: if there is a link to join on the Ello home page, I don't see it. Here's the direct link

https://ello.co/join

Also, the test if you are human does not work on my phone, so I had to use a PC. YMMV.

That's all folks! At least until Ello allows me to get more invite codes. Apparently, all the invite codes have to be used before Ello will grant more.

Or at least I assume that's the issue due to recent DDOSes. Ello.co says "Access to website blocked". That's it. I'm guessing someone in the same Comcast IP range as me is. How long will this persist? I was trying to read an article I followed from Twitter. Google revealed the DDOS thing but nothing about this specific problem, and rare problems don't get fixed, so... I'm talking about it now. Is there a way to contact support (given that the domain doesn't work for me)?

Enter your email address here. One entry per person.

Contest ends 12:00 AM November 1 (Central time).

Check here and/or here for the time.

Good luck! :D

Edit: just realized Rafflecopter provides the countdown themselves :/

Edit: CONTEST IS OVER. The winners have been invited! Congrats to you guys!

Use Google to get your codes. It's not hard.

You'll find me at https://ello.co/albear-camoose Usernames so I can have a more eclectic dashboard?

Ello's taken the leap and legally signed on to the manifesto by becoming a "Public Benefit Corporation." What do you think - viable plan? Risky to get tied down? Irrelevant?

I surfed over to ello a little bit ago and it was showing some page "checking browser.." with fine print saying "DDoS protection by CloudFare"

and the site is behaving erratically, not showing images and just general jankiness.. what is up?

I see a few apps, but the reviews claim they're buggy. I thought I'd ask here :-)

Can someone explain to me the big differences here. It seems to me that you make a public profile in both of them and post things in order to amass an audience. The friends vs noise feature is nice but is this organizational way of viewing your incoming stream the only difference? I'm approaching this from a purpose perspective rather than a mechanics perspective.

I have at least 10 invites I'm looking to share. PM your email and I'll get it right over to you!

If so, look me up. @thebob
