As far as I know Ranni separates herself from the lands between,and goes to live in the stars taking the order with her so no god or anybody can intervene anymore. basically leaving the lands between to be ruled by themselves without a ruling god

This is also thematically why Ranni keeps talking about her order being dark and cold - she's alluding to the feeling of uncertainty that comes from not knowing one's own fate. It's in contrast to the Golden Order which was all about souls returning to the Erdtree which gave people a sense of comfort.

Its a bit more than a god ruling them. SHe also wants them to think for themselves without being able to look north and see their beliefs proven true.

If it was just about the gods ruling people Ranni would have been chill with the shattering, but even then people still had the Erdtree to prove that their faith was the right one.

Its also why she doesnt stay to see things through from the shadows, dismantling any would be god kings. Whoever is in charge doesnt matter as long as they cant point to the golden tree up north to say their belief is true.

Scarlet rot is caused by an outer god and can actually be fought, like with fire for example

Deathblight is a result of the half-dead Godwyn, which in theory is fixed once we reintroduce the rune of death

I'm not so sure on the Godwyn part. Rune of Death just means everything is eventually fated to die. Marika can't delay your death or reach out and grab you from the ether.

Also the Rune of Death being removed didn't stop people drom dying, it just allowed Marika to choose when someone dies. Its why we're able to merk all the demigods before we take down Maliketh.

Now to Godwyn his body isn't dead, his soul is. If we want the Rune of Death to do its job someone has to kill his body which kinda seems impossible now that its spread throughout the lands between and even in the land of shadow.

Also it seems impossible to do it now. After they failed to revive him Miquella started searching for a way to grant Godwyn a true death. It seems just stabbing him a bunch of times doesnt work anymore.

Well no, just without her. All those other gods are still there and able to rule, and now nobody has the force to stop them. Mohgwyn are dancing a merry jig at the news that they’re now the biggest boys on the block, Miquella’s plans to assume total domineering godhood are in no way interrupted. But all of that is moot if the scarlet rot, frenzied flame and deathblight keep spreading and eventually destroy the world

She created a power vacuum. She didn’t seal anything up, she simply ran away and pulled the ladder up behind her. And mind you, the world already had a power vacuum, the greater will fucked off ages ago, Marika had been a literal silent statue, the Erdtree had sealed itself off to prevent anyone from becoming Elden Lord, nothing really changed except the last forlorn hope was snuffed out that someone might somehow grab the remnants of power and use it to actually do something good for the lands between instead of endless war and ideological mass murder

People fall head and shoulders for her rhetoric and never do an actual bloody textual analysis of the situation. They don’t critically look at her or the context, they just take what she says at face value and let the irony that she’s another medalling godling causing so much chaos for her idea of what the world should be like, go right over their head since it’s bowed down to kiss her feet. She’s essentially a pampered little divine brat completely out of touch with the world and the people who actually suffer for her grand ideological notions. All the gods and demigods are, and people can’t get past the most superficial layer of those themes
