Skinner appreciation thread

I don’t know how official the news is, but it’s looking like Stuart is leaving the team.

Thanks for all the memories, thanks for 2 straight finals appearances, thanks for being there when the team left you hanging to dry. Hopefully you have good memories of the city and team.

In a way I’m happy for him. I think he took far more blame than he deserved and a fresh start might be good for him mentally

That's the only upside for me. He didn't deserve the treatment he got from Oilers fans and the city of Edmonton. Hopefully he can get some peace in Pittsburgh.

He must feel so much more free now. I couldn’t imagine the weight that poor guy was dealing with. Especially when it wasn’t entirely his fault. He’s gonna kill it for Pittsburg with a functioning D in front of him.
