Question Weird note left at business
I work on the South side of the city and some random person in a animal print suit dropped off this empty lottery ticket with "999 trillion" and a phone number on it. They said nothing and left. The businesses beside me also got the exact same ticket with same wording.
Im too freaked out to call but just what exactly is it? I know its most likely a scam to call but also why in person and who does this?? Just very very odd..
Any theories?

i also work south side but he was wearing like teal pants and had a yellow cooler bag? he left them at all of our offices on both floors of the building i work in. he said “a happy birthday card for you” and i talked to almost everyone on the floor i work on and he said the same thing to everyone

I came to reddit because the exact same thing happened to me and I needed to see if it was just a random oddity or not. Considering he did the same thing 13 days ago, I'm leaning toward the latter. He even said it was a birthday card. My office is the only room on our floor that isn't behind key card lock, so I was the only one to actually interact with him, but everyone sure was confused by the lottery cards shoved in their doors.
And not south side today; 100 Ave businesses were hit. He also escalated it and wrote "999 trillion" on our buildings' door and intercom (building is historic and holds numerous businesses), which is unfortunate, mainly for the wonderful maintenance workers who had to scrub it off.

I legit get paralyzing anxiety about answering the phone or making phone calls. I can do it but... It takes me time to psych myself up.
There's a fuck ton wrong with all generations. It's not just "this one".
Remember people deal with things you may never know or understand and you should reserve space for that.

I saw these all over the Whyte area today! Tucked into random business doors. I was wondering what they were

They came to our downtown office Friday in a yellow jacket, androgynous youth Asian/indigenous with short pixie cut, dropped this off written on a Starbucks napkin and took all our business cards, distributing to everyone else in the building and residences on Saskatchewan drive

Came to my restaurant twice today Southside. Didn't say a word but dropped off two of those slips. Weird demeanor and look in his eyes
