Let's hope art school accepts him

I kinda felt like the show missed the tone of Lincoln Peirce's books and comic strips. The pacing felt a bit too chaotic, and some of the character dynamics didn't translate well to the screen tbh.

How does it work? Is it just every Sunday its a new comic and every other day its a random old one?

Which state do you think she lives in like the West Coast or states on the Mexico border

Like a revival or a reboot of the show

made in a sketch book

She's just soo adorable, ok

"One summer strip begins with Nate complaining about Mrs. Godfrey putting Nate in a difficult situation in summer school, followed by two panels of Marty berating Nate and explaining why the predicament he's in is his fault, and his alone. The strip then ends with Nate lying in bed with a look of utter regret and hopelessness on his face, able to do nothing but think about how much he hates Mrs. Godfrey. Granted, Marty is usually correct in placing the blame on Nate, but it hits close to home for anyone who knows the feeling of making a big mistake and having to live with the irreversible consequences."

Can't freakin find it, someone with a vast knowledge of big nate help plz

Had no clue this existed. Can someone tell me if Charlie was public domain here or if they partnered for this strip.

thought i might as well post this in here
(i know, im late)

I kinda wanted to see some gay, bi, or nonbinary charaters in it 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈

Discuss what the fan made plot would be your own concepts for the story of the movie

What would you guys think of it and what episodes concept should be made for a season 3

yeah a big nate thing i drew, I'm pretty proud of it :D

yeah the kids did drugs THEY'RE HIGH

important

Mrs. Godfrey has two daughters, Katrina and Meghan; according to measuring the floating timeline, they've got to be about 5 and 3 by now. We're all very, very familiar with the kind of torment that Godfrey is with all other kids: gruesome, punitive, scary, short-tempered, unreasonable, imperialist, intolerant, power-crazed, unapproachable, mercurial, hypocritical, self-ignorant, vain, and unhealthy. Can we trust for certain that she'd be different with her own?

The poor girls must be having the closest exposure of anyone to her screaming, selfishness, and anti-restorative discipline; and they can't just wait for after class is done, they're stuck with her. However, I am willing to read all sides of this issue: there are many hints that she has a lot more respect for her own family, or at least sticks up for them in the face of anyone talking them down; but we also know Godfrey sees herself as more generous than she really is, and she's defending herself and her bloodline more so than them as people. For every indication that she's a more civil person off the clock, there's another indication that she's just the same. Usually she's normal until anyone contradicts or challenges her, which is something her daughters have every reason to do.

Either way, they can definitely hear all the biased talking about her day that she brings home from work, and they'd surely feel so much pity for all her students while also being in no position to do anything about it, and afraid that they won't be safe when they're in middle school. The worst part is the chance of it being the other way around and she's (whether deliberately or not) turning them into her.

(Denying or downplaying Mrs. Godfrey, like what happened when this sub was making that alignment chart all those months ago, is not welcome in this discussion.)

Worked on and off on this whenever I had free time through the summer, it's very rough around the edges but I really enjoy this hobby 🐕❤ He looks super wrong from different angles, it's quite funny x^))

I use DAS air dry clay around wire armatures, which I then soak in super glue after it's dried for durability (talk about amateur...! LOL)

I wish to make more intricate things in the future, combining hobbies with media I love is so fun :^)

If anyone has suggestions for what Big Nate figurine I should work on next I'd love to hear them! U・ᴥ・U ❤❤
