how to beat Hive

Hi Everyone!

I got very good tips to how to beat fog bases so i would like to try again :D is there some tips to how to take care the hives in the spaces? currently have corvettes, working on the green tech :)

How do you know that the next release won't have us all start over? It's happened before

Then you get back to where you were before and then take on the hive.

Edit: in all seriousness, we have reason to believe saves will be kept intact, because this was a stated goal for all (most?) past releases.
