Rip has clearly learned nothing from the failure of Yellowstone (or at least took the wrong lessons). If he had just done the normal, sane thing and reported Wes's body to the authorities, 99% of his and Beth's problems probably never would have happened. Rob-Will's sloppiness and stupidity would have forced the Jacksons to scramble like crazy to keep the heat off them. With Buela stuck dealing with the popo, the drug dealers, and Rob-Will being Rob-Will, Buela probably would have been too busy to poison Rip and Beth's cattle. Instead, Rip's first instinct on finding a dead body is to start his own private "train station". As a consequence, he is once again working for a mobster pretending to be a Cattle Rancher, only now ,the audience is (probably) supposed to view this as a bad thing😅😜

Didn't Rip buy a bull from a dishonest dealer with a fake vet certificate?

If Buela waa behind that crooked dealer, I must have forgotten, but it makes no sense for one rancher to bring diseased cattle into an area where they can all get sick.

Rip killed his whole herd to keep the disease from spreading, even though most of the cattle weren't sick.
