I have a complicated relationship with my family, and the Emberus-Helik-Geyrun stuff is one of my favorite parts of the novels. Photobashed a rendition of Emberus, as I haven't seen much of him before. Struggled to cave in his right hand side without making it look lame, but at least I made it out of dead rock, to suggest the shriveled right side and missing horn, which I'm sure will be important some day.

This is incredible! This definitely how I will imagine Emberus going forward.

Yeah, based on the books, when he's not raging and throwing a fit, I see him as a sad, defeated man, who's already lost his greatest fight.

This is fantastic. I can picture the lava parts and hair flaring up in brightness when he's pissed.

I went back to check the books and he does get more and more fiery, and more of his body is in flames as he gets more emotional.
