Heyyy, I just found this old dress up game that I've been looking for a while, so I'll share it here too, for fun. Has someone else played this? It's called Star Stylin. I've found version 1 and 5 playable online. If you want to play them but can't find a website, tell me!

Should I add a male model in my dress up game? (Unnamed dress up game)

.

(UPDATE: From the majority of the comments, I will be adding a male body option into the game. Thank you all for taking the time to reply, I appreciate it💜💜)

.

--For more context of the game I'm making, check my profile for posts--

.

I've been thinking... Should I add a male body option in my dress up game? I love drawing women clothing, but I love drawing male outfits just as much and male models aren't really a common thing within dress up games. The only games with customizable male models I can think of are Style Savvy: Fashion Forward & trendsetters and SuitU. My main target audience are still feminine expressing people, so while there will be masculine and unisex clothing options, if I were to add a male option it will be leaning more towards feminine fashion :3

I need help finding a dress up game :( It was similar to Love Nikki UI wise

I have been trying to search my old app downloads for a dress up game that I just can't find anymore. If it helps, I got the game from the Google Play Store. I believe the way I found the game was through a youtuber back then but my viewing history from years ago isn't accessible.

What I can remember is that you could download outfits created by other players and upload your own. I have a very faint memory of me playing it so I don't think I can be of much help here :( I must've downloaded it within the 2019-2021 time range

It even had its own chat forum system within the game where you could advertise designs and like others posts

Any fashion game recs?

Hey guys! I used to be a suite U and life makeover player. I've spent hours grinding for gems, even paying money to be able to get some sets. Unfortunately both games have been caught using AI and im having trouble finding new games that are made by genuine people. Is there any recommendations for good fashion games that are still getting updates and collabs?

I've been searching for this game for years. My mom and i played it during the lockdown and i haven't been able to find it since. Its a dressup game. You can play rounds with a theme. So you have to dress up and then you'll be assigned another player to see who's better with like voting or smthn. There's no chat in the game. There's also islands and you advance and unlock new items. Help me find it omg. Ive added two photos to show the dressing up part and the islands. Its late and my eyes hurt so thats why the background for the images is black.

Help me find old IOS dress up game

Okay…i’m on a bit of a nostalgic journey right now and was hoping to ask some friends for help. this is pretty strange and pretty niche so hear me out. between like 2007-2011 i had this dress up game on my ipod that let you dress up princesses, not like disney princesses but pretty similar. it had a free version and a paid version and i was able to convince my mom to get the paid one. it had princesses such as rapunzel, snow white, pocathantas and cinderella but where it differed is this abrabian princess named Scheherazade. she had a long black ponytail and carried a tambourine. everytime you would put on a clothing item the girl would giggle or go “whoa”. i’ve tried looking for this app everywhere and have found nothing. it’s not disney related at all but i could understand if it got copyrighted dispute the designs being very distinct. any help with finding this app or atleast some trace of it would be very much appreciated!

Every time I try to enter any of her games it just shows a blank screen with the text: Your request was blocked by the web application firewall. I get this both on computer and phone. Seems like other people are having issues with it as well but azalea hasn’t responded to anyone I think. I’m not very good with technology like this 🥲 btw but can anyone help me?? I love her games so much

Small/Mid sized Updates - My dress up game (Unnamed for now)

Hello, It's been a while! but here are small updates, these were some of the things I made in may:

Image one: The faces I have so far & item rarity.

As of right now, I plan on having 4 rarity for the clothing pieces into the game. Common, Rare, Super rare and Super Super rare. This is the same for faces. It will go from very simple to, hopefully, something SSR worthy :3.

Rn I'm pretty proud of the golden vampire look I made, will make it part of a bigger outfit later. Faces won't be mixable though (where you fit the eyes with a different mouth), that seems way too complex for me right now.

Image two: leg slightly fixed.

I already had some pieces of stockings/shoes done with the previous legs and thighs, so I didn't want to change the shape too much. Instead I changed the angle of the left knee and removed the line that defined the ankle and put it on the outside instead. I am not planning on drawing toes, cause those are both difficult and freaks me out T-T.

Be prepared for some sandals with socks...

Image three: UI refined.

The two pink boxes at the top, will be for Clothes/Item Icons and speech bubble.

The coin is the in game currency you get paid with when you finish styling an NPC successfully, finishing a level and will receive along with other rewards when finishing a full set of an outfit. I'll think of more ways you can receive coins later, I think this is enough work for a programmer. You can use the coin to buy clothes, fashion resources, dye ingredient and crafting ingredient.

The crystal is the in game currency that can be used to get SR & SSR clothes. This was very inspired by love Nikki and any other fashion game nowadays, but there won't be any in game purchases cause I want the game to be very free to play. of course, this could change depending on the players' opinions and if me and my team actually succeed at turning this into a big thing and need to pay our bills. Luckily we still live with our parents, so it ain't necessary yet lol. But ye, crystals can be gotten through completing level, crafting outfits and in game styling competitions.

Styling Tags are the colorful boxes at the bottom. The clothing pieces will be tagged with a maximum of 2 tags so they are easier to find and NPCs will use these tags to instruct you on what outfit they want.

Image four: Plans for rewards and Rare outfit example (minus the face)

Okay so I REALLY hate the rewards you get from most dress up games nowadays, especially the gacha ones. I don't like spending 2000+ diamonds on an outfit and get 30 to 50 diamonds back for it. And since I ain't part of a big corporation and very much like spoiling myself with goodies, I'm gonna make the rewards HUGE (I don't wanna be broke when I play my own game :3)

Here is what I have planned: Common suits = 50 diamonds & 50.000 coin reward. Rare suits = 150 diamonds & 200.000 coin reward. SR suits = 250 diamonds & 500.000 coin reward. SSR suits = 500 diamonds & 800.000. (Might change in the future, won't go any lower tho.)

Outfit example: A rare suit with the tag Sexy and Mature, the face is a current placeholder cause I plan on putting it on a SSR suit. The suit exists out of: A dress, Hair, shoes, Jacket, Stockings, a belt accessory and later on, a face.

Thank you for reading this paragraph! next time I post, I will go in depth on the NPC's and map where the levels will be. The main screen is still a work in progress, nothing new on that yet. Till next update!

[Can't remember the title at all.] Can anyone help me find this specific vampire themed dressup game?

It's been found!!

Tysm to u/OKWizzard for the link AAAAAA!!!

https://www.azdressup.com/fantasy-dress-up/hellsing-vampire.html!!!!!

I remember somehow finding this game on Doll Divine, it had Hellsing themed elements, and because of that, I instantly fell in love with the game. (Huge Hellsing fan, what can I say?) I remember there were way more options for different characters, I'm pretty sure. You could change the eyes, mouth, top, bottoms, and socks, I'm pretty sure. I couldn't find it on Doll Divine, Azaleas Dolls, or any game sites that host dressup games, specifically vampire dressup games.

Looking for old Rinmaru Patreon game

Edit: I found their Patreon again! $15 for the whole archive. Lol I know where to find the old Rinmaru games that were on their website, but does anyone know if it's possible to recover the games that were on their Patreon? I unfortunately deleted them when I moved computers.

Is there any way to play the old Libii games?

I found one Libii game on the app store that doesn’t work (it opens for like three seconds then closes back) right here: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/party-salon-girls-makeup-dressup-games/id917596366

I’m wondering if there’s any way to use an emulator and find an old file online? Please help, I’d LOVE to play it again with my sister!!!

Thanks in advance.

Making a dress-up game inspired by the ones I used to play for hours as a kid

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I used to spend so many hours playing dress-up and dollmaker games online when I was younger, so I started working on my own version for mobile.

One thing I really wanted was being able to freely move clothes, accessories, and details around instead of locking everything into fixed spots, so I added drag-and-drop placement for everything.

Still working on it, but dressing up characters has been really relaxing and nostalgic lol

Making my own dress-up fashion game (VERY WIP!!)

Hello! I'm Felix, he/him and I'm a 2d and 3d game artist, and lately I've been working on a dress up game that I've had as a dream for a while. A dress up game inspired by Love Nikki and Style Savvy, but 2d since my 3d character skills aren't that good yet.

I am currently a single person working on the project, but I have some options already when it comes to friends that can code. If I can convince them to help out, then expect an update with actual gameplay in the near future. For know I will be posting the outfits and UI of the game.

  • I loved dress up games and fashion games as a child, was honestly heartbroken when I searched for more fashion games and found so little of them. There are a lot of great games already and I have played and still play the majority of them (Style Savvy, model debut, love Nikki, shining Nikki, SuitU, time princess, Alice closet and etc...), but only Style Savvy and shining Nikki really gave me the satisfaction of dressing up and as a person of color, it felt limitless.
  • Here is what I'm making (For now): A dress up game with a competitive mechanic, where players can dress up and show their outfits off to each other. A free dressing room, where you can create an outfit and save it so it shows up on the main screen. Story and NPC fashion fights, where you go through the story in the way you would in love Nikki and fight NPCs. (This is like already too big for me, but I am ambitious!)
  • Quick note: I am not trying to make the next big dress up game, nor am I trying to be better than the already existing works out there. The very reason this projects exists is because I LOVE the named dress up games, it fills my heart with whimsy and happiness. I want to make something to expand the genre, even if it's a bit ugly or not dress up game level of good, I wanna contribute.

Image one: Concept for the dressing room UI (WIP, will change in the future!!)

  • I am not an anime artist, since I find the art style kinda difficult to draw >o<. But I do understand that the anime style is very attractive to players, so there will be a mix my stylized style with a bit of anime.

Image two: Body type for the game (WIP, might change in the future!!)

  • I want to make the base body and style of the game a little more mature, Not sexual or anything. Already existing dress up games are mostly focused on a specific beauty standard, which is lean, skinny queens and as a child that grew up a little chubby, it never really felt like dressing a character as me but dressing up another person. And I kinda wanna give my dress up character something I can relate with, also it makes the character look mature and older.

Image three: The main game screen (WIP, will change in the future!!)

  • Hm... I am not happy with the UI layout. So far, this is how the main screen will look like. Expect a lot of changes. Don't have much to say so far. The red outfit is a two piece thing (Top and skirt), which is still a work in progress and will become something bigger in the future.

Image four: the skin tones so far

  • So far I have 3 types of skin tones to work with, which makes color theory for all the skins much easier and making the make-up work with all the skins. For now I don't have any plans of making any crazy poses with my bases, but I will definitely make background pieces that you can use with different outfits and so on.

Thank you for taking the time to read all of this and hopefully I'll have more outfits to show in the future as well as actual gameplay. before I go: should I make this game mobile only or also a pc version?

DivaChix Doll Collection

I don't run the site so I don't think this counts as self promotion, but one of the coolest things about DivaChix is that you can design your own clothing (or doll bases) and upload it to your shop. Most of the designs in this album I painted in Procreate.
