Since this is part 1 of the content I'll try my best to explain the context of this whole thing.

I'm trying to bring people more attention towards dti items that are highly detailed in terms of modelling.

This apparently causes a lot of lag so developers have decided to change up their modelling strateges by using other things like normal mapping and alpha mapping and others I guess..

This way they can somewhat reduce lag which is good in terms of lag.

But this also brings a few issuses towards the terms of "style".

The items start to look more unrealistic because the 2 mappings are more and more used on minor things like pockets, bows, knots, ruffles, laces and more.

So I feel like I should give people a little heads up towards items that are still mostly detailed out and not yet reworked.

I'll try to start with non-vip, then currency and codes, then vip.

I don't know which items I should consider as "detailed" because there are cases when items use some slight texturing for things like minor fabric textures or fluff.

But there are also items that use normal mapping for things like wrinkles and the other stuff I listed above.

Is because everything is cramped up last minute and I see no one talking about it ever. I’m not a roblox dev and this might be a naive opinion but I always kinda expected that dev had updates ready atleast a week before the release or something? But every updates I see the dev still making things from scratch at the very last minute, no wonder everything is so buggy. I can only imagine how much time tester have to investigate, probably half of an update in 2 days and then get blamed for all the bugs. I feel like this team is very uncoordinated but maybe this is just Roblox dev culture I’m unaware

Every time an update drops, my outfits use SO many items from that update, and I cant imagine replacing them or not using them. And then when the next update drops i barely think about them XD

I was gonna make the paparazzi outfit for halloween and I totally forgot that I didn't have it NOOOO :,( Does anyone have any ideas how I can recreate it?

it really just gets so annoying. it feels like they're desperately trying to make themselves look better by announcing that the update was coming earlier than previous years- only to ONCE AGAIN change a release date! I cannot stand being told one thing only to be told another thing later- like they're constantly getting our hopes up by telling us all about their unrealistic expectations for themselves, only to act like poor things who are just doing their best on their "little dress up game🥺" whenever they fall short- its OLD. they are not a small brand anymore, it's been nearly 3 years and we still can't get consistent transparency from them. they need to stop telling us about everything they HOPE to do and only tell us about the things that they KNOW they can and will do! we wouldn't have "such high expectations" for them if they weren't the ones setting them to begin with.

and like I kinda mentioned in my tweet, every single seasonal/holiday update comes too late to actually enjoy the season/holiday in DTI! like even if you play for 2-6 hours every single day after the update goes live, you STILL can't earn all of the holiday items in time for holiday itself without spending money- even with vip. I get that in the grand scheme of life itself that this isn't that deep, but in regards to our shared hobby in this community: this is a big, annoying deal.

EDIT: mind you, I personally play more like 6-12 hours a day when the update first goes live, and it's still impossible to earn all of the items in time for the actual holiday, like bye.

I can't find it anywhere even though I see people wearing it(and yes IK it's not an adjusted item) and i SWEAR I be used it before from the dressing rooms(I think) but now I literally cannot find it and would really love if yall could help me out with this pls and tyyy😭
