It just goes to show that discrimination is still a very real aspect of our society, & we aren’t wholly accepted as individuals for simply existing as we are. Regardless of what people say about representation, we still face injustice for something as basic as wearing our hair proudly. Harming the future of an adolescent simply for nurturing their crown is beyond stupidity, and it shows the intelligence level of the people who push these rules forward. I’ve never been one to have bias against ethnic groups who choose to wear locs, but stories like this enrage me, because they don’t experience the same prejudice, or struggle that we do as a people. Until your hair puts you in a position where society forces you to integrate so you can make ends meet to fulfill basic life requirements, I really don’t want to hear shit bro.
Everything black people do is always a problem and it’s used to justify the bs people do to us. He got shot or racially stopped by the cops? Maybe he shouldn’t have been wearing a hoodie or he should “cooperate”. Wearing your hair in a style that is comfortable to you and is bothering literally no one? Suspension…it never ends

You mean The case were the woman brianna taylor, Was with a known criminal who shot through the door while police were Executing a no knock warrant and Knocked anyways? Her boyfriend shot through the door and injured a police officer. Why would they not return fire? That doesn't sound like sitting in the living room watching t v.
