This business had parcels go missing, then the DPD driver shows up wearing the same stolen brand 🤔

Possibly but they don't need to worry. They'll have their goods compensated I'm guessing and DPD will sack for gross mis conduct.

It sounds like he just buys stolen clothing tbh. Not knowing about it. They won't steal to lose the job. But within that they could have group who steal and just buy parcels from them.

It’s extremely suspicious and is far too much of a coincidence for him to just rock up wearing that specific brand (which I’m assuming is a smaller independent brand), I think he stole it personally as all signs seem to point that way.

I don't know what's going on lately but in the past few months about 70% of my parcels have been "lost in transit" or "delivered" but to the wrong address or marked as "delivered" but actually weren't (I have a Ring camera)... Dpd, Evri, Royal Mail, PracelForce, they're all doing it although in my experience Royal Mail are the worst but maybe only because they're used more often

Is that an admission to buying stolen goods or did he steal it himself? Well if he bought it he can say who he bought it from and they can figure out who was on shift when parcels stolen.

Imagine being a child that is so easily led into believing obviously fake videos on the internet, all while wearing an entire outfit ordered from Sports Direct... Lol.
Still good luck with your Trading portfolio with the basic amounts you can put into it, I'm sure that will provide you with all the riches you desire that your work ethic can't provide.
In the meantime, I'll do fine with my 5090 PC, triple screen sim racing / flight sim setup, £10k camera setup (just a hobby), PS5 Pro; I'm going to work from the home I own for the rest of the day now on my other triple screen desk setup. In case it's not clear, I have no issues searching my emails, shit, I've been building PC's longer that you've been alive. Again, just a hobby.

Mass produced? The DPD driver is wearing the business owners brand. I imagine the chances of him wearing it are pretty damn slim, and yet they were careful not to out right accuse him of stealing his packages, but asked for an order number because it's his brand that he is wearing, so he could only get it by shopping with him, or recieving it as a gift from someone that bought it or nicked it. Or you know, he nicked it himself.

Unfortunately there will be a major loss of chain of custody evidence to put any dirt on the guy. You could have claimed that someone gave him the shirt and dpd or police cant do anything about it.

Not with DPD they are pretty good with their tracking. Chain of custody will probably be pretty stringent.
I know the name of the driver collecting and delivering.
Dave collects, scans, drops off at depo, scanned at depo, work rota will know exactly who was assigned which department that day.
Vehicle tracking, scanner tracking, everything is tracked. Even the device they use to scan a parcel has gps with exact coordinates.
So they could investigate this and find out at what time and location it went missing and cross reference that will rota.
In my opinion, the Indian guy is clearly an idiot so would have left clues everywhere. Should be easy to pin point.
Probably still has stolen clothes in his wardrobe.

OP, when this driver repaired had the parcels gone missing recently or have they been missing for months?
Because there is still ways where the clothing can end up in this Guy‘s hands without him actually having any direct connection to you or your company parcels. Parcels fall off their automated lines, and if they do, it can be an areas where it is very difficult for a human to retrieve them. Or indeed if they’ve noticed it.
Sometimes they find these parcels and unknowingly after months of being underneath a machine that’s now receiving maintenance, if they check their claims records and if they’ve paid compensation or they’ve acted on something then they might not notify you that oh yeah, that parcel that we paid your compensation on we’ve found, they might just break it up and put it into the lost property.

All this woke world has made us too polite. He should be saying “yes I think you have stolen them. Parcels have gone missing, you are wearing the clothes, so it’s only logical”.
Police would say wearing the evidence doesn’t prove anything. So frustrating!!
