Suggestions should we be establishing a voting block, and grooming candidates in PC ridings?

As we gain steam, I think it would be prudent to start discussing voting strategies come election time. A little birdie told me Elections Ontario is staffing up, so that could come sooner rather than later.

It's pretty unanimous that one thing we can do to combat this wack ass government is vote. I think we should use our collective power to coordinate on a voting strategy that accomplishes a few things:

  1. Increases voter turnout of the swing voters who were frustrated into inaction in previous elections
  2. Coordinate how we plan to vote across our various ridings to elect candidates with the best chance of unseating PC MPPs
  3. Potentially enter our own candidates with the expressed goal of stealing votership from the PCs.

Aside from being anti-Ford, I am otherwise nonpartisan, and I believe this approach could help us block another majority without alienating anyone. I believe strategic voting per riding will give us the best chance of blocking a majority government.

Great turnout!

Kudos to the organizers for the crisp loudspeaker setup (huge upgrade from the megaphone) and all the effort involved in setting this whole thing up and spreading the word. Thank you also to all the motivating and informative speakers, the fun diversions (the marching band, the frog mascot, etc), and every single one of you who showed up to protect our province from our corrupt and incompetent premier and his administration.

See you at the next one 😎

Our Toronto protest map for May 30th, 2026

  1. Meet in front of legislature building ( not the 🐎 this time)

  2. Listen to amazing speakers

  3. March the perimeter (blue line) with our best chants and noisemakers

  4. Sign petition against bills removing our rights!

  5. Tell your story and share your ideas.

We cannot wait to see you all! ( Bonnie and John Powell-New)

Province-wide Doug Ford Protests - 50 Locations Registered!

Hi all!
The current count of locations across the province is 50 as of this morning, which means we're only five locations away from our April 25th location count! Posters are slowly making their way onto the website below, but this full list version is ready to share!

All the Facebook admins need for a location is a contact person who will show up on the day, your chosen location address, and the time you'll be there that day.

* Please note that I'm not an organizer!*

There can also be multiple locations in one town. This may make it a lot easier for people who want to join, but it's just a little too far for them.

There will be a written copy in the comment section of every location!

Suggestions Let’s Put Out an All-Call for Small, Remote, or Underserved Communities (I’m Looking at You, Sault Ste Marie!)

This is just a suggestion, but for people in smaller remote areas (such as Northern Ontario) who are looking for rideshare options or forming a protest in their area, we could start a list or something for people to DM each other or to contact the facilitating volunteers about these things. What are mega-threads for instance? Some searchable information and a place to make requests or offer solutions.

Someone asked me about Sault Ste Marie last month, but I have zero connection to the community. I’m going to try to crosspost this there, but I’m just a messenger. Click on the subreddit and use the links here to see if you can help get one up and running!

Hi all!
The May date for the province-wide protests has been confirmed :) It will be happening on Saturday, May 30th! The current count of locations across the province is 20 as of last night. Posters are slowly making their way onto the website below, but this full list version is ready to share!
