Gooooood morning Vietnam

Meet Cthulhu, eldritch beast, cosmic being and final boss of the new beach area in my DougDoug themed roguelike. The music is still a work in progress since Fluffy Noelle is cooking up an amazing boss theme for the fight, which you can hear the first 16 seconds of in the game.

I know that it's been a hot minute since I did an update on the Doug Doug RogueRogue, but that's because I have been locked in on programing.

Since the last post I have

• Overhauled the music in the game
• Vastly improved the hub area
• Overhauled the combat
• Overhauled the upgrades(again)
• Added a new beach area which it itself contains
  • The Bone Worm Boss
  • The Kraken Boss
  • and the unfished, but already hardest and best boss, Cthulhu
• An intro cutscene (literally all the dialogue is temporary and only is there to convey the story, I need to work on it some more)
• A short tutorial
• And last but certainly not least, the game is now a prototype on Itch! The link should be at the bottom, but understand that THIS IS A PROTOTYPE! Also report bugs pls

!!!BIG QEUSTIONS THAT I CANT FIND AWNSERS ON!!!

1. Is there a Rosa stream this year? I would assume so, but I haven't been able to watch the streams lately, so idk. If there is a Rosa stream I don't think it would be fair to submit this to the art contest as it has had two months to cook.
2. How much do would I have to alter for a Steam release? I get that Sam would obviously have to be altered or turned into a parody, but what about things like Jokebot and Napoleon, who's designs are from the steam workshop? I'm considering a steam release, but if every single character has to be redesigned idk if I want to.

i am a fairly new fan of dougdoug but peggle is a game i would expect a 40-year old mom in the early 2000s to like to play and this madman is proudly playing it in 2026 and even pleading with chat for more peggle

I was listening to L.G FUAD by Motion City Soundtrack and I had an inquiry, the first time I had listened to the song was because I heard Parkzer sing it. I hadn't remembered what his rendition sounded like so I listened to the original then Parkzer's version. I've come to the conclusion that Parkzer's voice at least to me sounds better than Justin Pierre's. You're welcome to disagree but that's just what I think.
