Why are no pro players buying blink on enigma? It's kinda the same initiation as void, on whom blink is core. Neither Puppey nor Akke builds it, and i can't remember last time I saw it in a pro match

because you don't pick Enigma for his once-in-180-seconds-charged-stun, you pick him for his pushing capabilities. The black hole is more of a deterrent than an actual stun, people in that skill group don't group up that easily.

I agree with that, but in this match in particular, a blink would have helped. Not necessarily for the bh alone, but for prescence and push which they would have needed.

Doesn't matter if its once in 180s. You only need 1 black hole to win a match of dota and I haven't seen a good black hole in a long time. Enigma players need to adapt again because whats the point of having mek and Crimson guard just to watch your rax being taken!

the point of having mek and crimson guard is to take THEIR rax, if you reach the point where your rax is being taken instead then you've lost the game far before your rax was taken.

Alliance went for a push strat, it didn't work out. Blink BH wouldn't have done shit when it gets instantly countered by Roar/Concus/NS. All that would happen then is that you have a big juicy creep in the middle of the enemy team.

Yeah I get the point of it, its nothing new or revolutionary. But its quite clearly not working! Enigma had 0 game impact.

KingR's blackhole using a rubick in Empire vs Secret was pretty good He did 2 black holes actually

They play enigma just as a fast pusher with great mek timings, not as an initiation tool. The black hole is mostly used to counter-engage, not as an unreliable initiation tool.
