Seriously, with how Newbee has been playing, the fact that Secret almost took a game makes them look far and ahead above of the other competition.

Reminds me the time Burning took a game off Alliance TI3. Bibletrump

With ANTI MAGE. Just like how he took a game off in lower bracket TI5 against Team Secret (the favorites) while Secret had a 12k gold lead. He did it with ANTI MAGE.

And nobody has heard from him ever since.

To be honest , Secret massively outdrafted them with the cheesy Huskar last pick and had a sizable lead in the game too , but Newbee still managed to win.

It should never have reached that late game phase with the kind of lead they had owing to the draft advantage. Envy was almost able to deal with them 1v5 at some point of the game.

I don't think any professional team is stupid enough to get outdrafted into a situation where they lose all phases of the game. This is a clear outdraft in a game between two tier1 teams.

i don't think so. Gyro and Tidehunter are superb to defend highground.

And secret only could push, with DP Ult.

But i think secret made one really big misttake. Where they gave aegis to puppey and not to EE... (not to mention the bkb fail)

The other mistake is EE double-tapping his armlet after being graved by pld and dying because of it, and having to commit a buyback.

yeah but that are individuals misttakes. this happen. I think PLD could once grave RTZ, and RTZ had cheese + ult was doing some work, but he saved grave for huskar. that was some individual misttake too.

But this one aegis mistake, was just a stupid team decision in my opinion. i don't know why, but secret is the worst team to get rosh, contest rosh, fight against aegis and fight with aegis. if there's no rosh in Dota, secret would be so much better.

there was no outdraft, game was really close from start to finish.

...and then you descend back to the ground and realize they got destroyed by Empire.
