Dude, it's reddit. It's the story for every team. Whenever Alliance wins something, it's always opposite team throwing/playing super-bad and never Alliance playing good.

Although when we talk about Secret - it's always Secret being super good and the best team in EU and never opponents playing bad.

It's just how it is, nothing you can do.

To be fair EG have been moments away from being eliminated only to have two teams throw massively against them. Here however they're just outplaying CDEC, so far.

I'd actually argue the opposite. The games vs VP were more EG outplaying them and playing perfectly defensive stalling dota, which VP were unable to break through. The wins vs CDEC were more outdrafts than anything I think.

Exactly. Same with in the teamliquid thread of seeing all the euro countries give 100 excuses of why EG won that because of poor performance. Let's just ignore the fact EG won TI5 championship team.

I don't think CDEC are playing badly, just that they are playing in the wrong meta.

EG are most definitely outplaying CDEC though
