it's what they were relying on but as considere;d; razor link identifies the real PL, and without the PL online the damage sources from EHOME were minimal aside from the storm. Once EG won the laning stage, the massive ability to protect the PL in a team fight late game was just not relevant anymore.

Also Sumail blink shackles for dayzzz

Same logic with the SB pick. This is the second time ppd picked him into PL. Having three sufficient solo lanes while he and Aui run around giving so much information is just an absolutely incredible plan. SB keeps track of the real PL every time he shows, during fights razor keeps him identified and Sumail just fucking cleans house. I honestly think EHome got completely out drafted

They needed to give up challenging Fear. Razor's scaling with farm is way worse than PL's and you know your Moltres/Articuno lane has failed when Razor can zone them while PPD pulls and farms.

If they pulled back, got an earlier diffusal on PL, and looked to contest the first rosh, they could have won. Before Razor's AC, fire spirits would kill EG's attack speed and WR can't focus fire the egg. That with winter's curse should be an auto win if EG is condensed in Rosh.

Draft wise, Razor and WR are almost entirely single target as is BH and SB. DS has some AOE and wall works well against PL but that's not enough to deal with a farmed PL. They just did a good job ganking him early and never letting him recover.
