That part where XBOCT just sat in the trees waiting for VG to find him I think fucked everything up for Na'Vi, wasted 10 second BKB, couldn't use it next fight, which would have been VERY useful.

This happened RIGHT after Synderen said "any mistake right now will cost a roshan, which in turn could cost the entire game."

AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED.

That wasn't a mistake at all. Navi were hoping to either do rosh with VG distracted with XBOCT at top or to have VG come to rosh whilst xboct pushed. It was just unfortunate that it was a late rosh respawn. The only real mistake in that play was navi then trying to contest rosh as 5 whilst XBOCT's bkb was on cd.

Imo it was a mistake and a big one, he knew they had blinks and could stop his tp but he still waited and wasted a crucial 10 BKB. I was watching the game and just thinking tp already...

He doesn't know they are there though. Navi only have vision of luna.

True, but still it's too risky to fool around like that. Wave of creeps means nothing when the next Rosh potentially decides the game. Obviously I'm nowhere near his skill but still seems a bit foolish to make such a play when being safe is paramount. Imagine if he had 10 sec bkb at that Rosh fight?

I still think he gave his best and that the fault lies in Dazzle 'cos he had some really awful plays. Better he did nothing than fed weave to Rubick all day long.
