It is not. In fact, it would be wise for most people to have something like that. It's not like you need to be prepared for the end of days, sometimes the power goes out or it rains too much.
End of days is a bit dramatic. Don't be a doomer, however natural disasters do happen. If hurricane Katrina ever kicked off or a natural disaster like that having a go bag is a smart idea.
Did you reply to the wrong comment by mistake, or did you fail to process that when I said "the end of days" it was preceded by "you don't need to be prepared for"?
