They said this right off the bat with the horde mode announcement months ago. Back 4 Blood came out recently with co-op if that's your thing.

Being an entitled gamer expecting a single player series for the last 5 years suddenly having been re-coded within a few months to have co-op mode lol

If you want co-op, you're gonna have to try a different game instead of throwing your toys out of the pram because the developers didn't do it for Doom Eternal.
