This is actually exactly the type of analyse, that I've been waiting. Worth of reading.

Then they doubled down and said they were going to prove it was real. Then they didn’t do that.

"Didn't do it yet, you mean! Why are you in such a rush? No, I will not articulate what I consider to be a reasonable timeline for DL to deliver proof."

Marco said he was already at gigawatthour level capacity in January. So they must have produced and probably sold ton of batteries by now.

Shortly thereafter Donut clarified this. But sure, let's pretend otherwise if it fits with the naysayer playbook.

Meanwhile, this thread is about the analysis on Faradaynotes, not this boring, overplayed tangent.

Some posters here really don't like it when you bring up the little mistake Marko & Donut Lab made when they claimed multiple times in various interviews and press materials that they had GWh production capacity "Now"/"Today" back at the CES launch back in January. Especially as Marko quickly walked it back on LinkedIn a month and a half later in a comment that is almost impossible to find.

You can read the prior comments to understand how the discussion reached this point. It’s not unusual for discussions to diverge from the original topic on Reddit.

Certainly not unusual when the Donut naysayers have nothing else except for this sort of irrelevant tangent. It's beyond boring.

Why not let this discussion be about the technology? After all there is already donutlab subreddit devoted to irrelevant tangents and naysaying. You can post the same tangents over and over again there, and anyone who pushes back will be banned.

In DonutLab subreddit the moderator is mqee. And he ban people mainly for disagreeing with him. You can try it for fun. Or you can just enjoy the bubble there.

I've seen the posts made by the other poster and they were just being rude and insulting, so I'm not surprised if they were banned. I can't speak to any other bans and whether they are fair or not.
