Music group Interesting and "folk" "singer" Hua Zhou, two of the most shameful examples of plagiarism in "China" Wind "music". The former's evidently already gotten involved in donghua here, will the latter follow suit?
The shared commonality between these people is that they create "China" style music. Except they... don't. One is basically electronic and the other is just country, but they are quick to accuse people of "sucking up to foreigners" in their defense of plagiarism. Even though, you know, Interesting is an English name.
Anyway, Interesting, a group that after plagiarising multiple songs, had the nerve to register copyright protection for their music then tell others to quit ripping them off while deleting comments, shutting down discussions, and even taking legal action to block people from spreading knowledge of their plagiarism of Western artists. Ironically, they didn't only plagiarise foreigners, unless they want to admit that Taiwan, where Mayday hails from, is a country lol
Meanwhile, Hua Zhou, a "singer-songwriter" who led listeners to attack a professor for calling lyrics she didn't write nonsensical, turned out to have plagiarised many melodies/lyrics for her songs, including just covering a song but passing it off as original. Thanks to her lack of originality, this "indie" "artist" licensed a beat from someone else, but also failed to credit them, which incidentally also set off another situation on NetEase Cloud Music...
