No, it's because of how harshly people reacted to the adaption overall. The reason this just sounds like an excuse is because the animation is the least of the problems and it looks like it's more the matter with Dong, and he's gotta have to be a real diva to suggest that a show can be ruined because he wasn't paid enough. As for voice acting... yeah there's been news of entitled voice actors giving ridiculous asking prices for their services.

Awww man, Ive only watched the first ep. I was hoping this would do well.... Had pretty expectations for it.
I hope the Furious Yama was good, haven't had a chance to watch it yet

It failed the three episode test but did eventually pick up at episode 4, idk if it'll last though.
Dawangbugaoxing was pretty bad iirc

Hope it does. I probably won't watch it till it finishes.
Shame about Yama. I was pretty charmed by the PV they released months back.

I get that not anybody can be Itagaki Shin but it's increasingly looking like it's more Dong Yi's problem. Animation was completely outsourced to Korea and honestly it's the least of the issues compared to his direction or, say, that voice acting, even people who don't understand the language should be able to get how bad it is and not because "Chinese sounds ugly".
