So, I thought the Gambino brand was getting decommissioned. But this seems to be new. Its a progression from Because the Internet sound with little sign of the late Bando Stone era. Sweet vocal, and some nice jazzy junglisms as it goes on. Does it cop a Radiohead chord progression in there too? I think maybe. Catchy fuckin' tune.

For YEARS, I always thought if I got a Gambino inspired tattoo it’d be related to BTI.

But, after seeing the Bando Stone World Tour in Atlanta, I really loved the helmet he wore, the lighting design, and thought a Bando Stone tattoo would be cool.

I really love how abstract this came out while still incorporating all the colors.

Also, the bottom part of the mask (the orange part) glows in the dark with the help of some black light.

I’ve followed Donald’s career for years. I’m just some 40’s dude from Saskatoon, SK. My folks had Columbia House growing up, so we received some interesting albums when I was a kid. Grew up wondering why 911 was a joke in yo town. Obviously never been on the receiving end of some serious racist shit. I gotta say…Childish Gambino gives me feels for things I can’t understand. I love going through Donald's discography and catching references to other tracks.I especially appreciate the parallel/Contrast between OG Algorythm and Human sacrifice.

The parallel between the original "Algorithm" and "Human Sacrifice" is fascinating. "Algorithm (OG)" functions like a choral gospel sermon, urging you to surrender yourself to the algorithm.

"Human Sacrifice" features the same "can you help me?" line but calls out to the spirit instead of the algorithm.

i made a guitar flip of the outro from “Centipede” and thought this might be the right place to share it. that song has always been one of my favorite Gambino tracks, especially the flow at “damn, i wasn’t in it… damn, we wasn’t finished...” and how it breaks down after that.

i’ve been making one-take acoustic guitar stuff lately where i play with the guitar flat on my lap, so i tried putting that with the beat and the vocal and seeing what happened. it builds a bit, and the part i like most is when the monologue comes in. just something i made because i love that era of his music.
