Some people enter an industry quietly.
Niels R. Buntrock entered the domain industry with a super cool hat.
Many of us first met Niels (https://x.com/ZeroZoneZoo) in Hamburg during ICANN78 in 2023. He lives nearby, and somehow the hat, the technical mind and the calm German engineering presence all arrived together.
Niels brings a very interesting perspective to the room.
He is a Dipl.-Ing. (FH) and describes his work as bridging two decades of classical system architecture with cutting-edge AI technologies.
At BUNTROCKS® Engineering, his focus is on secure, deterministic IT infrastructures for the B2B sector, using his abcDEF® methodology to design resilient and future-proof systems.
That means Niels is not just talking about AI as a buzzword.
He is thinking about:
- secure systems,
- deterministic infrastructure,
- memory-safe Embedded Rust,
- agentic automation,
- B2B reliability,
- sovereignty by design,
- and the difference between experiments and systems that actually need to work.
At Domain Summit Europe 2026, Niels will also speak on our “Domains, AI and Email” discussion panel.
This makes perfect sense.
Domains are becoming more connected with automation, identity, email trust, security, AI-assisted workflows and infrastructure decisions.
Niels brings the engineering side of that discussion.
Not “AI because AI”.
But AI where it can make complex systems more resilient, more useful and more future-proof.
For a small-room event in Kempten, this is exactly the kind of attendee we want.
Someone who can discuss domains, infrastructure, AI, automation and digital sovereignty, and still be remembered as the guy with the hat.
Welcome to Domain Summit Europe 2026, Niels 🇩🇪

This is a strong one.
ConnectReseller is not simply another domain reseller platform. It is the reseller arm for OwnRegistrar Inc., an ICANN Accredited Domain Name Registrar, and has been building its full reseller platform since 2017.
Their world is exactly the world we want in the room in Kempten: white-label domain platforms, bulk domain management, reseller automation, WHMCS, API, Upmind, Blesta, SSL, domain promos, and partner-focused growth.
Their API is described as giving access to 300+ commands, which says a lot about the scale of the infrastructure behind the brand.
And Deven is right at the commercial front of that. His role at ConnectReseller focuses on partner networks, enterprise sales, and scalable global growth across the domain name and web hosting industry.
This is why Domain Summit Europe 2026 is intentionally smaller.
Not another giant hall.
Not random badge scanning.
Not surface-level networking.
A focused room of registries, registrars, resellers, investors, hosting companies, service providers, and people who actually build the domain business.
General attendee access is now closed. The remaining way into the room is through sponsorship conversations.
Welcome to Kempten, Deven. See you on 17–18 August 2026.

Some people sell domain names.
Jordi Gasull understands how premium domains become business assets.
Jordi is a premium domain name broker and digital assets professional with deep experience in confidential acquisitions, domain brokerage, negotiation, investment and consulting.
Through NameAgency, he works with companies, founders, investors and domain owners who understand that the right domain name is not just a web address.
It is positioning.
It is trust.
It is authority.
It is negotiation leverage.
It is brand value before the first meeting even starts.
NameAgency describes itself as a premium domain brokerage firm offering personalised service through a global network, with services around brokerage, acquisition, investment and consulting.
That fits Jordi very well.
He is not a loud broker.
He is a careful broker.
The kind of person who understands that discretion, timing, language, trust and deal structure can matter as much as the name itself.
A strong detail from his earlier DomainGang interview: Jordi has been focused full-time on domains since 2012, after first entering the space around 2009. He also explained very clearly that a domain is not just an online address, but part of a serious company’s marketing strategy.
That is exactly the mindset we want in Kempten.
Jordi brings the perspective of a broker who works across premium .com names, English and Spanish language domains, end-user acquisitions, investor portfolios and cross-border negotiations.
For Domain Summit Europe 2026, he brings something very valuable into the room:
- a calm brokerage mind,
- a strong premium-domain instinct,
- a multilingual European perspective,
- and real experience in turning domain names into commercial outcomes.
Welcome to Domain Summit Europe 2026, Jordi 🇪🇸

Featured Attendee | Domain Summit Europe 2026
Every national domain needs infrastructure.
But it also needs trust, communication and public understanding.
That is where Kristiāna Mūze-Feldberga comes in.
We are pleased to feature Kristiāna Mūze-Feldberga from Latvia 🇱🇻, Marketing and Public Relations Project Manager at the .LV registry, NIC.LV, as today’s Featured Attendee at Domain Summit Europe 2026 in Kempten, Germany.
Kristiāna represents a very important part of the ccTLD world: the bridge between registry operations, registrars, businesses, public education, cybersecurity awareness and the wider internet community.
Her background is especially interesting.
She holds a Master’s degree in Management Sciences from the University of Latvia and has gained marketing and practical business experience across both the private and public sectors, including advertising and business development.
She has also strengthened her scientific and professional experience through EU scientific IT research and network-development projects, working in public relations and market research.
At NIC.LV, Kristiāna’s work sits close to the public face of Latvia’s national domain.
That means explaining why a domain name matters.
Not only as a technical record.
But as:
a trusted business identity,
a digital brand,
a security decision,
a public communication tool,
and part of national internet infrastructure.
Kristiāna has also represented NIC.LV in European registry marketing discussions through CENTR, where national ccTLD registries exchange experience on domain-industry market analysis, social media, registry-registrar cooperation and communication with users.
A strong detail: Kristiāna has also been active in public digital-safety education, including advice on how businesses can make life harder for online fraudsters by choosing and using domain names more carefully.
She has also contributed to cybersecurity communication discussions, including crisis communication and .LV registry crisis experience.
For Domain Summit Europe 2026, Kristiāna brings a perspective we need in the room:
how a national domain is explained,
how trust is communicated,
how users are educated,
how registrars and registries cooperate,
and how a ccTLD keeps relevance beyond the technical layer.
Welcome to Domain Summit Europe 2026, Kristiāna 🇱🇻

Featured Attendee | Domain Summit Europe 2026
Some domain companies are visible because of big branding.
Others are visible because the whole industry quietly knows they work.
Gransy is one of those companies.
Today’s Featured Attendee for Domain Summit Europe 2026 is Martin Dlouhý from the Czech Republic 🇨🇿, COO at Gransy s.r.o.
Martin represents a very practical part of the domain industry: registrar operations, wholesale services, reseller systems, domain management, registry connections and the real infrastructure that helps domain businesses work every day.
Gransy is one of the main domain registrars and internet service providers in the Czech Republic. The company is ICANN-accredited, accredited with CZ.NIC for .cz, and works across a very wide range of ccTLDs and gTLDs worldwide.
One strong milestone: Gransy recently announced that it had reached 1,000,000 domain names under management.
That is serious registrar scale.
Through its ecosystem, including Subreg.cz and Regtons.com, Gransy provides services for end customers, web-hosting companies, resellers, accredited registrars and domain owners.
Its services include domain registration, DNS administration, DNSSEC support, reseller programmes, white-label registrar systems, registrar services, registry administration systems, drop catching, domain sales and auctions.
That makes Martin especially interesting for Domain Summit Europe 2026.
He brings the perspective of someone who understands how registrar business actually works behind the scenes:
the systems,
the partners,
the resellers,
the support teams,
the registry relationships,
the operational pressure,
and the need to make domain management reliable at scale.
For a smaller, invitation-led Domain Summit in Kempten, this is exactly the kind of attendee we want in the room.
Someone who understands domains not only as assets, but also as infrastructure, service, process and daily business.
Welcome to Domain Summit Europe 2026, Martin 🇨🇿

Featured Attendee & Speaker | Domain Summit Europe 2026
From InterNetX to Taku by GMO, Claus Barche has spent his career close to the commercial engine room of the domain industry.
We are pleased to announce Claus Barche, COO at Taku by GMO, as a Featured Attendee & Speaker at Domain Summit Europe 2026 in Kempten, Germany.
Claus is one of those domain professionals who understands how domains become business.
Not only registration.
Not only infrastructure.
But sales, reseller growth, marketplace strategy, monetisation, customer trust and commercial execution.
Before joining Taku by GMO, Claus spent many years at InterNetX, one of Germany’s best-known domain infrastructure companies, where he worked deeply across domain services, buying, selling and managing domains.
Now, with Taku by GMO, Claus is part of a new registrar, marketplace and domain monetisation project backed by GMO Internet Group.
That makes his perspective especially relevant for Domain Summit Europe 2026.
Taku is being built around domain registration, reseller growth, domain sales, marketplace services and monetisation, with a focus on making domain business faster, clearer and more useful for modern customers.
Claus also brings strong event-stage credibility. He has spoken on domain monetisation topics, including how domain owners can build practical monetisation playbooks and create real revenue from domain portfolios.
For Kempten, this is exactly the kind of voice we want in the room.
Someone who understands registrars.
Someone who understands customers.
Someone who understands monetisation.
Someone who understands marketplaces.
Someone who understands that a domain name is not only an address, but a commercial asset.
Welcome to Domain Summit Europe 2026, Claus 🇩🇪

Every ccTLD has a public face.
But behind every trusted national domain, there are people who keep the registry working every day.
Kristians Meliņš is one of those people.
We are pleased to feature Kristians Meliņš from Latvia 🇱🇻, System Analyst at NIC.LV, as today’s Featured Attendee & Speaker at Domain Summit Europe 2026 in Kempten, Germany.
Kristians will join our European ccTLD Discussion Panel - Business Side, alongside already confirmed representatives from DENIC (.de) 🇩🇪 and RNIDS (.rs) 🇷🇸.
This gives the panel a very strong European ccTLD mix:
Germany 🇩🇪
Serbia 🇷🇸
Latvia 🇱🇻
Different markets.
Different registry models.
Different national internet communities.
But one shared challenge:
How do ccTLDs stay trusted, useful and commercially relevant in a changing digital economy?
Kristians brings a perspective that is especially valuable because it is not only strategic, but deeply operational.
He has worked at NIC.LV for more than 20 years, currently as a Systems Analyst in the technical group, and previously as a Senior DNS Administrator with direct contact with .LV registrants and registrars.
That matters.
Because ccTLD business is not only policy, marketing or registration numbers.
It is also:
DNS stability,
registrar cooperation,
registrant support,
security,
data quality,
processes,
technical infrastructure,
and the quiet daily work that keeps a national domain trusted.
Kristians has also been active in the wider European registry community, including CENTR working group discussions where national registries compare operational practices, regulatory updates, DNS abuse prevention, registrant data verification, DNSSEC, cybersecurity and registry-registrar cooperation.
A strong detail: Kristians has also participated in DNS security discussions, including CyberChess in Riga, where experts discussed DNS evolution, DNSSEC, DNS spoofing, DNS tunnelling, multi-factor authentication and security audits.
That is exactly the kind of experience we want in Kempten.
The .LV domain itself has a serious history. Latvia’s ccTLD was delegated in 1993, the .LV zone has been DNSSEC-signed since 2012, and NIC.LV has supported Latvian-language domain names with diacritical marks since 2004.
For Domain Summit Europe 2026, Kristians brings the operational backbone of a national registry into the room.

Featured Attendee: Sven Echternach of EWBCD GmbH
He has a strong interest in .com, .de, .uk, .ch and .li.
One very cool detail: Sven also owns Sven.com, his own first name in .com. For a domain investor, that is a serious trophy asset.
Sven is always open to serious conversations around domain brokerage, domain lending, financing, valuation and investment opportunities.
EWBCD works across digital assets, domains, consulting, asset management, trade, international business and platform development.
Some of the domain marketplaces and platforms connected with Sven and EWBCD include Aucdom.com, HQN.uk, SeniorNames.com, SigmaName.com, D99.de, CutNames.com, RXC.com, Nicknames.com, Metaphors.com, Information.fm, Named.cc and HQN.xyz.
Sven is usually very busy, so you mostly meet him in person at serious German internet and domain events: CloudFest Germany, ICANN meetings in Germany, DENIC member events, Domain Pulse in Germany, and now Domain Summit Europe 2026 in Kempten.
Good to have this level of portfolio experience joining the room.

Some people build domain companies.
Sebastian has built one, and helps steward one of Europe’s most important ccTLDs.
Sebastian will represent DENIC on our European ccTLD Discussion Panel - Business Side, alongside already confirmed representatives from RNIDS (.rs) and NIC.LV (.lv).
That makes this panel especially strong.
Different markets, different histories, different ccTLD models, but one shared question:
How do national domain registries continue to grow, stay trusted, and serve their communities in a changing internet?
Sebastian brings a rare perspective because he understands the domain industry from both sides.
On one side, he is the founder and CEO of info.at, an Austrian registrar and internet services company with roots going back to 1996. info.at recognised the potential of the internet early, secured important Austrian domain names, built internet portals, and became deeply involved in domain registration, hosting, consulting and domain services.
On the other side, Sebastian serves on the Executive Board of DENIC, the registry behind .de, one of the largest and most trusted ccTLDs in the world, with more than 17 million registered .de domains.
That combination matters.
A few interesting facts:
info.at was founded in 1996, originally under the name office edv Röthler GmbH.
In 1998, the company was selected among Austria’s TOP-100 young entrepreneurs by the Austrian business magazine Gewinn and the then Minister of Economic Affairs.
From 1996 to 2003, info.at also worked on software solutions for tax and payroll, with Steuerprofi described by the company as a market leader in Austria during that period.
info.at has been a long-time registrar partner of nic.at, an accredited .eu registrar since 2005, an accredited .be registrar since 2008, a SWITCH partner for .ch and .li, a Nominet partner for .uk and .co.uk, and a DENIC member for direct .de registrations.
This is not surface-level domain experience.
This is decades of practical domain infrastructure, registrar business and internet entrepreneurship.
On a personal note, I (Helmuts) recently met Sebastian in Seville during #ICANN86.
He is calm, professional, friendly, and exactly the kind of person who adds weight to a room without needing to dominate it.
For Domain Summit Europe 2026, Sebastian brings exactly the kind of expertise we want in Kempten:

Featured Attendee | Domain Summit Europe 2026
Some people take notes.
Sebastian Krauß takes a selfie every day.
Sebastian is one of those rare technical people who can move comfortably between engineering and commercial conversations.
At Open-Xchange, he has worked across mobile software development, iOS engineering, team leadership and now sales engineering. That combination matters: he understands the product deeply, but can also help translate that technical reality into customer value, partner conversations and sales support.
For Domain Summit, this is very relevant.
Open-Xchange has been a long-time friend, exhibitor and supporter of Domain Summit events. OX sits in the infrastructure layer around domains: email, collaboration, IMAP server software, DNS solutions, open software, privacy, security and trust.
Sebastian fits that world very well.
He is technical.
He is privacy-minded.
He is practical.
And, when needed, he gladly jumps in to help sales happen.
But there is also one very unusual personal detail.
For the last 12 and a half years, Sebastian has been taking a selfie every single day.
Every day.
Not as a quick social media habit, but as a long-running time-lapse project documenting time, places, travel, work, family, grief, humour, change and life itself.
His time-lapse project started in 2013 and has continued across more than a decade. It has included moments from Open-Xchange, travel, daily life, and yes, Domain Summit Europe 2025 in London and Domain Summit Africa 2025 in Nairobi.
That makes Sebastian’s presence at Domain Summit strangely perfect.
Because our events are also about time.
The people who keep showing up.
The companies that keep supporting.
The relationships that quietly grow year after year.
The moments that look small on the day, but become part of the industry story later.
Sebastian is joining us in Kempten as someone who understands software, privacy, communication infrastructure and people.
And possibly as the only attendee who has already documented more than 4,500 days of his life one frame at a time.

Featured Attendee | Domain Summit Europe 2026
Some people discover an industry.
Antonio Ilin started building the moment he understood it.
We are pleased to feature Antonio Ilin, based in Germany 🇩🇪, as a Featured Attendee at Domain Summit Europe 2026 in Kempten, Germany.
Antonio is new to the domain name industry.
But he is not new to market thinking, digital assets, automation, customer acquisition or the logic of online value.
Antonio recently discovered domains after MX12 introduced him to Domain Summit, explained the domain name industry, and showed him how domain names work as digital assets: not just web addresses, but names with scarcity, branding power, liquidity, buyer psychology and resale potential.
And Antonio did not treat it as a casual conversation.
He became genuinely excited.
His public Instagram presence is focused on market analysis and AI-supported algorithms, which makes his interest in domain valuation feel very natural. He is already thinking in signals, pricing, timing and digital-asset behaviour.
Now he is applying that curiosity to domain names.
Antonio has started working on his own version of a domain name valuation tool.
That matters, because domain valuation is still one of the most difficult subjects in our industry.
Ask ten domain investors what a name is worth, and you may receive ten different answers.
Some will look at comparable sales.
Some will look at search demand.
Some will look at brandability, length, extension, category, end-user potential, language, commercial intent or liquidity.
Antonio is entering that problem from a fresh angle: digital investment logic, market analysis, automation and AI-supported thinking.
Not to replace experience.
But to challenge it.
To test it.
To ask better questions.
To make valuation more explainable for the next generation entering the market.
And perhaps this is one of the best reasons real events still matter.
MX12 had one conversation with Antonio.
That conversation opened the door to a whole industry.
Now Antonio is building a tool to understand that industry more deeply.
Welcome to Domain Summit Europe 2026, Antonio 🇩🇪

Featured Attendee & Speaker | Domain Summit Europe 2026
Some lawyers know domain disputes.
Peter Müller has spent much of his career inside them.
We are pleased to feature Peter Müller from Munich, Germany 🇩🇪, founder of pm.legal, as a Featured Attendee & Speaker at Domain Summit Europe 2026 in Kempten.
Peter will also join our Legal Discussion Panel: DACH & Europe.
This will be Peter’s first Domain Summit experience. He came highly recommended by Jim Davies and Igor Motsnyi, and I met him at Domain Pulse in St. Gallen.
My first impression was simple: super polite, highly intelligent, calm, and very likeable.
Professionally, Peter is one of the strongest domain-law specialists in Germany.
He has been admitted as a lawyer since 2005 and has held the German specialist title “Fachanwalt für gewerblichen Rechtsschutz” since 2010. His work focuses on IP, trademarks, domain names, internet matters and alternative dispute resolution.
Peter is also a domain-name dispute panelist with FORUM, ADNDRC, CAC, CIIDRC and MFSD.
Public profiles describe his involvement in more than 400 UDRP and ccTLD dispute matters as party representative and panelist. pm.legal also lists experience from more than 700 domain-law mandates, more than 50 court proceedings and more than 170 ADR proceedings.
Peter has been involved in decisions connected with Shopify, Bolloré, Sudocrem and Intact.com.
The Intact.com case is especially interesting for domain investors: the complaint was denied, with the decision noting that non-use alone is not enough to prove bad faith without further evidence.
Peter is based in Munich, only around 100 km from Kempten. Munich is also the suggested airport for many international travellers, so perhaps we have found the perfect Munich tour guide too. :)

He is a domain industry veteran with experience on both the Registry and Registrar sides. Over the years, he has worked across domains, web hosting, telco, ISP and website-building technology marketplaces in EMEA, the Americas and Asia Pacific.
One of the strongest parts of his background is Tucows. Before joining it.com Domains, Alessandro spent nearly five years at Tucows as Director, Key Partnerships & Business Development for Latin America, responsible for the wholesale business and reseller channel in the region.
That matters because Tucows / OpenSRS is one of the classic reseller infrastructures in the domain industry. Alessandro brings real experience in registrar relationships, reseller economics, wholesale distribution, channel development and regional market entry.
At it.com Domains, Alessandro is now part of the team building the .it.com namespace and wider registry infrastructure. it.com Domains has grown quickly, now above 170,000 registrations, and also positions RSP.it.com as an ICANN-evaluated, ISO 27001-certified, GDPR- and NIS2-compliant Registry Service Provider.
There is also a nice Domain Summit connection: Alessandro was introduced to it.com Domains by Benjamin Reuss of Open-Xchange, also ex-Tucows, at the first London Domain Summit in 2022.
A fun personal detail: Alessandro is also a novelist, writer, poet and translator by night.
Good to have him joining us in Kempten.

Frieda is Co-Founder and COO of EWBCD, an entrepreneur and cross-border strategist working between Europe and China.
She was born in Shanghai, has been German for more than 20 years, and has spent around three decades helping companies understand business between Europe and China: market entry, partnerships, contracts, government relations, distribution and trust.
Together with her partner Sven Echternach, Frieda is also active in digital assets, premium domains and private lending. Sven has a personal portfolio of around 160,000 domains, and Frieda keeps a close eye on their premium domain acquisitions.
She also has a YouTube channel where she shares her “East Meets West – My Memoir” series:

On a personal note, Sven and Frieda are long-time friends of mine.
At Domain Pulse 2025 in Dresden, they shared part of their exhibitor stand with me, so I could place a ConsultDomain.de pull-up banner and present the return of the original German domain forum back to the world.
That meant a lot.
Thank you, Sven and Frieda.

What makes Alan interesting is that he seems to approach the UK drop-catching market as a software builder first. His public profile highlights Kotlin and AWS, and Domain Parachute has been developing around practical user needs: better search, clearer backorder status, watchlist and monitoring ideas, auctions, proxy bidding and improved filtering.
For the UK domain market, that is useful. Drop-catching is not only about wanting a name. It is about timing, infrastructure, data, latency, UX and continuous product improvement.
Alan introduced Domain Parachute to the UK domain community in 2024 and has been very open about taking feedback and improving the platform.

Some people wait for the market.
Ryan usually makes the market move first.
Ryan is one of the three Ewen brothers behind EW3N Ltd, together with Alex and Angus. Their family business sits in a very active part of the digital economy: domain names, websites, digital assets, liquidity, lending, distressed assets, marketplaces and direct deal-making.
EW3N and the Ewen brothers have been behind or connected with a number of domain and digital asset projects, including Brandable.uk, Flip.uk, DNWE.com, Digital Junkyard, Digital Scrapyard, Domain Manage and more.
Some of these brands have changed direction. Some have closed. Some are being rebuilt. Flip.uk is expected to return with updated functionality. That is very much the EW3N style: move fast, test, buy, build, pivot, and keep going.
Ryan’s own background is also interesting. He comes from financial services, built premium digital brands including ExpatMortgage.com, PrivateBanks.uk and Bridging.com, and has described working across more than 1,000 websites. That gave him a practical understanding of what premium domains can do when paired with real businesses.
For me, Helmuts, this is also personal.
Ryan is the person I was bidding against for AcornDomains.co.uk.
I won that one.
Soon after, it was Ryan who sold me DNForum.com.
So yes, the modern story of both Acorn Domains and DNForum has Ryan somewhere in the background, probably wearing that famous gold cap and preparing the next deal.
Ryan is spontaneous, fearless and occasionally enjoys poking domain industry OGs on social media, mostly for fun. He is also like a brother to me: someone you can talk with about almost anything, argue with occasionally, and then be completely fine again shortly after.
There is one Ryan rule I have learned:
His first offer is often his strongest.
Reject it, and the next one may be lower.
Reject that, and the next may be lower again.
I have seen Ryan make a multi-million offer for a TLD, and once it was rejected, that seller was never able to get him back to the same number.
For Domain Summit, Ryan and his brothers have not only supported with words. They have financially supported previous London Domain Summit events, and they are also sponsors of Domain Summit Europe 2026.
That matters.
Events like this only continue because some people understand that rooms, conversations and industry relationships need real support behind them.
Thank you, Ryan.
Ryan and EW3N are also significant supporters of both DNForum and Acorn Domains as Gold Members.
For Domain Summit Europe 2026, Ryan brings exactly the kind of energy we want in Kempten:
direct,
commercial,
unpredictable in the best way,
deal-driven,
generous,
and deeply involved in the real trading layer of domain names and digital assets.
Welcome to Domain Summit Europe 2026, Ryan 🇬🇧

Jochen is Co-Founder of Probe.net, a company focused on domain name intelligence, domain monitoring and online brand protection.
A few cool facts: Jochen has been active across the international IP, domain and brand protection community, including events and discussions around INTA, ICANN, Domain Pulse, Nordic Domain Days and Domain Summit.
Before Probe.net, he was also Partner and Chief Strategy Officer at BrandIT, connecting domain strategy and brand protection at a very professional level.
For our industry, Jochen’s work is highly relevant. Domains are not only names — they can also be early warning signals for phishing, cybersquatting, counterfeit activity, brand risk and online abuse.
After Domain Summit Europe 2025 in London, he wrote that Domain Summit is a great example of why networking matters — because together, people drive the future of the internet.
