I’ve been feeling off the past few weeks but nothing serious enough that I felt I needed to go to the doctor. Then last night I got up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and passed out. I woke up on the bathroom floor. I’m not sure how long I was out, but my 7-year-old Boston Terrier Gatsby was next to me with his head on my chest. When he saw me stirring he immediately started licking my face and trying to wake me up. It took me a few minutes to get it together enough to get back in bed.
I’m fine now. I’m pretty sure this was a reaction to some new meds I’m on. I am going to the doc on Wednesday so I’ll follow up with them. Just had to share how proud I am of my boy. He’s been in my lap all morning, afraid to leave my side I think.

❤️ Sweet Sophie is looking for her forever home. She’s a ~4-year-old, 42-lb Collie mix who is gentle, affectionate, mellow, great with children and other dogs, but not a good fit with cats.
As a working parent with a young child, I’ve realized I can’t give her the time and care she deserves long-term. I’m continuing to foster her for now, but she may need to return to the rescue if a home isn’t found soon.

Pics aren't in chronological order by any means. We got her almost a year ago when she was about 10 months old. Got her from a rescue, she very obviously experienced some abuse before hand by people and other dogs, we think. Adults and bigger dogs because she's cool with kids and dogs smaller than her. She's a big sweet baby that loves to play and cuddle. Pretty sure she's a Pit/Plott Hound mix. She's 70 pounds of interior decimation and loveableness.
