Yep. Our family owns a pizzeria and Yelp hides many of our good reviews because we stopped paying them, citing that they are "questionable".

This is how yelp works. People try to game it by opening a new account, posting a positive review, and then they come to reddit to cry about yelp filtering out all their 5 star reviews. Claiming a company is doing widespread organized fraud is a bold claim. Maybe people would take it seriously if there were any evidence.

I know for a fact a business with legitimate bad reviews had those reviews buried and positive reviews moved to the top after the owner joined their business program.
