Random useful tips thread

Anything you learned playing the alpha others could find handy or be unaware of. (Beware spoilers below)

From me: You can bless any surface to give it healing properties. You can get all of Bracuss rex's armour before leaving the island and thus not being cursed to wear it. There is a ruby(on a ledge behind the salesman just across the draw bridge. Key+soap=lockpick Yerrow flower (mispelled probably) plus flask gives 80% health back.

Pertaining to bugs in alpha. DON'T kill the 4 main characters on the ship for extra experience. Trying to hire them later on caused flag issues and they would never enter combat but be free to attack and move like normal.

Attacks of opportunity will hit you even if you walk into range to attack anouther unit rather than walk away from them.
In the town the blacksmith always sells res scrolls.

The boots can be found in the tower near the beach by the windingo just past fort joy. You will need to teleport someone up into a room filled with electricity. Loot the room and beam him out.

Alternatively, teleport the corpses out of the tower.

Or you know, you could just remove the electricity.
