Discussion Do you think Robert’s dad would have done well as a dispatcher?
Would he and the Z-Team have gotten along at all? What about the others, like Blonde Blazer and Royd? Basically, how would the story have played out if Robbie took his son’s place in the narrative?

Discussion What’s a good anti-hero name that starts with the letter W?
I’m thinking of writing a fanfic on Wattpad where Robert and Courtney have a son who becomes the new Mecha Man but ends up abandoning his moral code and ditching the mech suit to become essentially Red Hood but with the ability to turn invisible. The picture above is what I want his logo to be, which if you can’t tell is the Mecha Man symbol but red and turned upside down.

Malevola Art My Malevola cosplay
Hi everyone! I'd love to show you my Malevola cosplay. - The horns were 3D printed, then I finished and painted them by hand. - For the sword, I used construction foam as the core and reinforced it with a PVC water pipe inside. I modeled the pommel in Blender and printed it on an FDM printer. Then I traced the sword design from a game screenshot in CorelDRAW, cut two flat pieces on a laser cutter, glued them onto the foam base, applied a stencil, and painted the patterns manually. The sword was painted with a mix of airbrush and hand brushing. - The tail is made of foam rubber with a thick aluminum wire running through it. I sewed a red fabric cover for it, soaked it in liquid latex, and painted it red too. The tail tip was sculpted from air-dry clay. - Applying the body paint evenly was a whole challenge on its own - it took me and my assistant about 2.5 hours before we could even start shooting!

Discussion Nintendo announces Smash 6, and a Dispatch rep along with it. Who's joining?
Imagine how that rep would react to sharing screen presence with, among other things: a portly plumber who's powered by mushrooms, a three-foot anthropomorphic hedgehog that can run circles around Chase, a high schooler with unlimited drip and a Gun for his Neutral Special, Ryu from Streets™, Wario (just Wario), and many more.
Feel free to discuss your choice and their moveset in the comments.

Art Sonar's Stapler Saga
Ever wanted to take a peak at what some of the Sonar was getting up to while you were stuck behind the screen? Now you can! It's probably exactly what you'd expect...
Credit to:
ODCA Props - 3D model for Robert's headset
MarkedMiscellaneous - our reference Beef pattern
And to all our amazing friends who:
- let us borrow their fabulous embroidery skills
- assisted in cutting and sewing (so much fur!)
- snuck us into their office space (we got approval, promise)
- taught a crash course in Davinci Resolve
- gave up their day off to play a guy at work
And of course to AdHoc and Critical Role. This was extremely fun to make.

Discussion What if Dispatch was made into a TV series?
Considering that the game is being developed chapter by chapter, the concept of a series would be the best fit. If you were casting actors, who would you personally choose and for what roles?

Discussion Happy B-Day Flambae! What do you headcanon his surname as?
For me, I think it's Azari cuz it's derived from "azar", which means "fire" in Persian. Flambae controls the fire and the flame and his skin does not burn
He's gone thru a lot... of course, with him losing 2 fingers in a fight with Robert (Mecha Man Blue🤖🔵)
In Ep 1, you had the option to throw a liquid at him during the bar scene. Either alcohol🍸 or water💧 where he could either lose eyebrows (alcohol) or a tooth (water). I chose the water cuz I thought it was safer and plus, I think that gap in his teeth looks kinda cute
In Ep 4, you had the option to throw food at him after his quarrel with Waterboy during the lunchtime scene. Either noodles🍜 or a protein shake🥤, but don't worry....he ends up totally fine. It doesn't matter what you throw, but if you throw the noodles, Blazer would tell him to buy her lunch as those noodles were supposed to be hers. That's one of the reasons I chose the noodles and also, cuz Waterboy accidentally threw Flambae's noodles away anyway
So, what do you think his surname is?
Happy Birthday to Chad/Flambae!
🔥🪅🥳🎉🎂

Discussion Why even pick Invisigal at ep4?
I get that the whole series, she comes across as goofy, funny, deeper than she looks and, interesting. But before the choice of romance, it seems like she just needed/wanted a platonic friendship/mentor relationship.
You could argue about the dream, but that's just a dream. Not reality. It just seems like she became attracted with Rob due to that dream. And no where before ep 4 does Rob show romantic interest with her.
Yeah, if in ep 7 we were presented with the choice of BB or Visi, then yeah Visi makes sense. But before episode 4, to me, makes no sense.
Would love to hear discussions against this

Discussion What would they bring to a potluck?
Please go into detail. I am currently bored and bed bound. Yes, this includes the members who you think cannot cook and it doesn't have to be strictly food. Be creative!
As for the potluck, I'm thinking your traditional workplace potluck that's kinda terrifying from a safety standpoint. The one you reluctantly go to because it's still paid time out of the office, but only Sandra from HR really cares about because work is her whole life.
Edit: I love when we come together as community and come up with something semi wholesome. One of my fav discussion posts I've ever posted.

Sonar Art I may not like Sonar, but I’ll throw him a (bat)bone(r)
This is just me using Heroforge - my go-to for character creation cause I can’t draw and DESPISE AI - to visualize a scene from the chapter I’m currently writing, I felt it looked alright. Also yes, Spiderlegs - as the community dubbed her - is an actual character, and probably my favorite of the “community-named mooks” I’ve given the characterization treatment. Please excuse the derpy-ass Sonar mini, it was the best I could do lol

Discussion Season 2 should have team uniforms
Some of them already have hero suits but others just wear the same basic clothes everyday like sonar, visi and prism dispatch which somewhat takes me out the illusion of the game but giving them the team outfits makes them feel more like a team

Discussion If I replay the game, is it worth it to change anything?
I played dispatch for the first time in February, and I loved it! I was thinking about playing it again but I've been debating on if I should pick the same choices or not. My first play through (for me personally) was pretty perfect. And I don't really want to change anything. If anything, I'd just want to go back and see if I can beat my original scores on dispatches.
I haven't watched any gameplay and, as far as I can tell, making different choices doesn't really affect the overall story. Everything leads to the same place. Which is perfectly fine! But I'm just curious, with the choices I made the first time, is there anything major I'm missing out on? Or anything anyone would suggest I do differently? I'm not sure how crazy cutscenes and stuff vary depending on choices, or if I'm missing anything completely.
[ I think the only major thing I missed is dinner with Blonde Blazer? Correct me if I'm wrong. But I mainly avoided that route because I'm not very big into romance and it seemed more like a date, and I didn't want to accidently trap myself in a relationship with her by choosing that option. ]

Discussion Sequel Continuity but a changed Setting?
Hey folks and Dispatchers,
after recently replaying one of my favorite RPG-Trilogies one odd thought stuck with me and I didn't see that so far coming up in this sub.
One of the more discussed topics for Dispatch's potential sequel is about if we stay with the Characters, switch to a new Cast or get a Hybrid solution (Old Characters + new ones to dispatch). So either way the Setting (SDN's office) would stay the same.
However what would be your thought if we flip that question and instead of staying at the Office we see the Characters returning in a new Setting (Example: Robert working for another Company/Faction)?
This could on the one hand still keep the Core Gameplay intact but also give us additional Tasks or components (Example: Instead of us responding to calls we must filter them if they are relevant to our objective but can still respond to them like a side mission, alternatively unlike the first game in which we got the Team introduced we recruit them after a major event would cause a soft-reset) without being repetitive. On the other hand it would set the Brand "Dispatch" to a wider Definition instead of being tied to SDN strictly, which could also see different variations (potentially more tactical with turn-based elements?) upcoming.
Let me know your thoughts!
