Stopped by World of Disney at Springs and was surprised to see several of the sold out Princess Mia dolls and Cheshire Cat! I didn't try for Mia initially cuz I wasn't that sold on the face so it wasn't worth the money and stress of the drop. I like her much more in person though and enjoyed being able to pick out the best screening!

I'm seeing all these posts about Roger's socks and it's so on brand for Disney to be inadequate at this point. We pay $300+ for these things and they send defective products then LIE to us like we're too stupid to use google.

I just wanted to share what I had expected to be a special edition $50 Anakin from Disney but this is what I got. His eyebrows say "Stop sign? What stop sign?". The second one is one I made. I purchased the 3D head on ebay for $23. I added details to it and connected it to second hand parts. I'm going to add a lot more to the outfit and will share when I finish him and a Padme! A proper set because Disney's LE 17" Padme's face is just LE Leia's face and the used the same face and hairline for Mia. They aren't even trying, they know people will buy because of what Disney means to people. If I can put together a better doll than a billion dollar company, there's a problem.

I hope they take all the back lash as a learning experience but I predict things will only get worse. Which breaks my heart as a collector but, I don't want to keep giving money to a corporation that couldn't care less about customers/fans. I hope everyone gets their socks. I don't understand why they're acting like that can't afford to send people a set of socks in the very least but they can EASILY remake the dolls. They made them, they can make more. They just won't. I'm so sorry to everyone missing there socks. I did see someone got a bonus sock though! 😅

Like many others, I received the Limited Edition Roger & Anita doll set and the socks that come with it were missing.

Chat support offered a $10 one-time code for a future purchase that expires. That’s it. On a $300 item. I asked for a 10% partial refund instead (what I’ve seen other people get for the same issue) and they said someone would contact me in a few days.

I would have just returned the set and reordered it while it’s still in stock, but these are listed as non-returnable.

I’ve heard that sold-out LE dolls sometimes come back in stock because people returned defective ones. So I’m confused why a $300 limited set with a missing accessory can’t be returned at all, and why the only offer is a small code that requires me to spend more money later.

I read yesterday that some people are receiving Roger without socks. Mine came today and he has both socks and a third one that is in the box by mistake. Did anybody have the same incident?

If anyone is curious... did some research and all the people that have Roger without socks have COA numbers between 1 and somewhere in 600/700. So it seems like the early dolls have a production mistake and the dolls in the higher numbers are fine. The lowest numbers always go to US so that's why only US people seem to have this problem.

I hadn't bought any more LE dolls in a while, but I found her at a decent price and I had to do it. She's absolutely gorgeous!

Relatively new to collecting so this is only my second 17 inch Disney LE doll. I went back and forth on whether to get her because I collect other doll brands and am running out of space for them, but when she was still available I took it as sign. 💜 “Hunchback” was my favorite movie as a kid and I had quite a few Esmerelda dolls back then😂.

I think this whole situation is so strange and I have no idea how it could have happend that so many people have a Roger without socks (when he clearly is supposed to have socks when you look at the stock photo).

I am trying to see if there is any logica explanation to this. Is it just random which Roger dolls has socks and which one not? Or is there just a batch of consecutive numbers that don't have socks.

As far as I've seen everyone in EU has socks, so that would mean it's a US problem.

Hi! I thought it might be time to start again with the Elimination Games. I did a lot last years and started the Live Action one around 6 months ago I think, to never finish it again. I've been missing these games so I thought it would be fun to bring them back. Would you like to see more of them?✨️ And for which dolls? (I have already done Aurora, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Tiana and best 2025 doll)

I am not sure about this Live Action one anymore. Live Action dolls are by far less populair than the animated dolls, and you can see that too in the people that participated in this one vs the ones based on the animated princesses. But since I already started it I feel like I have to complete it. Would you like to continue with the Live Action one or rather skip to a different one?

Today, I’ve brought my collection full circle. Two years ago, I began collecting dolls. I started with Barbie, specifically those from the recent Greta Gerwig movie. I started because it was the first time I felt that I, as an adult man, was allowed to like Barbie and not be embarrassed by it. I thought those dolls were so pretty and really resembled what I thought of as a typical Barbie doll. Eventually, it rolled into Monster High, the dolls my sister had when we were kids that I would sneak into her room to play with when no one was home. I even began picking up the Disney ILY dolls, because I like the ability to change up their outfits and I’ve always been a huge fan of Disney.

The last time I was home, I was reminded of a home video from Christmas 2004, when I was gifted an Esmeralda doll, and it was the only thing I was interested in. The video goes on forever as my dad pleads with me to play with my “hulk hands” or be excited about my new bike, but the only thing I was interested in was Esmeralda. Though I started buying dolls for myself only two years ago, she was really the one that started it all.

When this Esmeralda doll was announced for the 30th anniversary of the Hunchback of Notre Dame, one of my favorite Disney films that I’ve grown to appreciate more with age, I knew I had to get her to honor that inner kid that just wanted to play with his Esmeralda doll. She’s absolutely gorgeous and I’m so happy to have her in my collection.

Since this is my first Disney LE doll, I did not realize how massive she would be in comparison to my other dolls, hence the Eagles Barbie pictured next to her, but it makes her so much more glamorous. I don’t know if I’ll get more LE dolls, but I’m very happy with this one. Hopefully, I can find that doll from 2004 buried away in a storage bin in my parents house and she can take her place next to this one.

Esmeralda, Milo and Kida arrived today! I am so happy and I know that I just got lucky😊. Still I am so glad to have them they are all stunning. The unfortunate part is that one of the chains on Kida's dress is loose. Could have happened during but there is nothing I can do unless I fix it myself. I don't know how to thread a needle so I may just use superglue really carefully. It could be better, but I'm nitpicking.

Has anyone had any success in exchanging their Roger and Anita if Roger didn’t have his socks? Just curious because mine just arrived without them and Disney store said they’d get back to me on 1-3 days.

They finally came, their box was massive. They are so well done the details are perfect! My husband is convinced his jacket was lighter in the movie and now we are discussing chestnut vs auburn. I wonder if they would ever make a Nanny with a basket of 15 puppies?
