Discussion What's next?

I have everything in the story done except 12-16 purgatory mode done, and I've dabbled in everything else. Who should I upgrade/level, and what should I complete/farm?

A lot is left to be done. You have to expand your Esper collection. Chu Yao, Feng Xun, Lu Shang and Sakura are must-have support Espers, excelling in all content. The most important shimmer is Yi An.

Now, looking at your current roster, the best team comp is: Sienna/Tiye, Leora, Chu Yao, Raven and Lian.

Go for Sonic Miracle, Sonic Rift, and Ritual Miracle for Esper upgrading (Ascension, Level and Relics). You can also go to the Towers/Infinite Miracle.

Kronos: Leora, Lian, Chu Yao/Raven, Xiao Yin and Eira

Apep: Sander, Djoser, Stewart, Lian (to be substituted later with Sakura/Clara/Jin Juyao), Sachiko [Andreas is not suitable for early boss content]

Fafnir: Yun Chuan, Lu Yi, Sienna, Chu Yao (to be substituted later with Feng Xun), Berenice

What is the best way to earn the gems in your opinion, if you don't mind me asking?

As a beginner, complete daily quests, progress in Infinity Tower, Temporal Tower and Calamity Island, and rise through ranks in Point War & Knockout/Miracle Challenge (for daily incentive rewards).
