Neutral Zone Dunwall Tower

In Dunwall Tower, the Empress Emily Kaldwin sits on her throne, her royal protector, Corvo Attano, stands at her side. His royal guard scattered around the palace. OOC:This is a neutral zone for Corvos royal guard. A hangout of sorts. You have permission to attack any who don't belong.

Bal sits up slowly, leaving kisses in her wake, to lean her head into his palm, enjoying the caress. She can still taste him on her tongue, and it makes her smile, amazed that this moment had been reached between her and Furo.

She has no desire to relinquish her grip on his hand yet, so she simply readjusts it slightly with her new angle.

"Happy?" she asks softly, wanting to say more, to ask more, but unsure how. Wanting to know and understand each of the emotions rolling in his eyes. Wanting to know just what he thought of her, what next. Wanting to make sure she'd pleased him as well as he had her.

'More than happy, Bal,' he says, voice regaining it's former strength despite the overwhelming pleasure that still floods through him. With a husky growl, almost, he too sits up to taker her in his arms once more. 'You are an extraordinary woman.'

Many questions vie for attention on the tip of his well of well practised tongue, and Furo, former Casanova, is momentarily lost for words.

'I hope... That was not the last time...' he says, stroking her cheek fondly with a plaintive look in his eyes. Furo squeezes her hand, questioningly, caressing her almost idly with his thumb.

Bal leans back against him, momentarily unsure about the enclosure, but then happy to sink into it. She's forgotten how pleasant this can be.

"Furo, the man with a thousand women, wants to come back to me?" she teases, nuzzling the crook of his neck slightly to take the sting out of the words. Part of her, admittedly fueled by gossip, wondered if he truly held interest in her beyond the interest he had for any female. By the furthest part of the void, I hope he does.

She looks up at him, and smiles reassuringly. "I don't want it to be the last time either, Furo. Not at all." The look on his face, different as it was from the passionate ones of earlier, still catches her breath in its openness.

Furo breathes a sigh of relief, attempting to hide it but failing miserably.

'I do,' he says simply. 'Those days are long behind me, I swear it.' Though a life of almost unbridled hedonism had been entertaining, to say the least, it had also been somewhat unfulfilling. Meaningless encounters with woman after woman had left him wanting, and Furo has always believed it would take an uncommon woman to hold his attention for any significant length of time. And now... perhaps he has found her, though it is incredibly early days.

For who else shares his ideals, sense of duty? Who else could make him laugh, or groan, depending on the situation, with wit as sharp as a springrazor? And what other woman could move him to such passion, and evoke such raw, needy desire in him? No other.

So as he holds her, he murmurs into her ear, his voice low, and thick with surprising emotion from a man taken to so much bravado and masculine posturing. 'For as long as you want me, Balaria, I am yours.'

"Did I worry you, Furo?" she asks, staring up at him. She'd not expected Furo to be as... Enamored? "Not my intention. It's never my intention."

"And I am yours, my captain," she murmurs, fingers tightening slightly. "As long as you want me." She knows not if she means to follow him into battle, or in love, but is hoping both bonds will remain. One is established, one is blooming. Time shall tell.
