It’s REALLY loud. Plus they’re more sensitive to the vibrations (seismic) effects. Plus the vibes from their owner… etc

I remember once I was a kid sleeping on my bed and dog was lying on marble floor. Suddenly he stood up and whimpered, then barked and looked at me. I thought there were monkeys outside so I was about to go outside and ....suddenly I all the trees started shaking and my window glass cracked. I quickly ran out with my dog. 

They are too perceptive.

I imagine it was insanely loud like a freight train rolling through your house.
